    More coming!

And so, I'll update every day. Why don't we post who we're rooting for and such :]

Well, our country's never won a gold award before. So I guess I'll be rooting for the Philippines.:D

My mother didn't let me watch the torch light and tried to make me do my homework in the middle, I just said the Olympics is once every 4 years, I get homework everyday, do the math. :p

Or, more to the point, do the maths later. =P

I slept through it all, but woke up just as the torch lighting bit started. Great timing, huh?

The ceremony was kind of hypnotizing. Although, it was quite boring. Nevertheless, the games have begun! Go USA!!! :D

i liked the drummers at the beginning.....they look like mini clones cuz they monved at the excact time....

I'm rooting for my Karate Teacher's friend in Judo for Team USA ^_^

I'm rooting for Germany just because I am half German :)

The opening ceremony was great, especially when China entered. The lighting of the torch was the best part.

The Soldiers march in a patriotic way that is important to China, as it symbolizes obiedience :)

empoleonp: Yeah, so? This is a ceremonial way of showing peace and harmony between countries and how far we have come. Even though many may argue due to the fact that North and South Korea preferred not to march together and the current on-going war between Russia and Georgia (The Country), the Olympics is a time to forget that. 300 Million is a small price to pay for peace among countries.

I watched half of the Ceremony. I saw a couple China demostrations, and then watched the Parade of Nations. Loved the costumes. I then watched the torch lighting. That was wicked. :O Congrats to the fencing women that earned 3 medals in Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Go U.S.A!!! ;f China and South Korea have 2 Medals, so it could be close.

dmaster out.

im watching beach volleyball right now...USA winning 15 to 12 and they have one 1 set so far

oh and congratulations on the fencing!

Go Israel! (I haven't seen them play yet)

Swimming is on now, and Michael Phelps is coming up for his debut this year. :DDDDDDDDDDDD

dmaster out.
