Hey if there's a poetry thread, then why not a Recipe thread. xD

Well basically just post your recipes here, and talk about your favorite one. :]

Also if you try someones posted recipe that you've never had then rate the persons recipe with either +1 or -1.

My favorite snacks are Reeses Bars. :D

Mix a little brown sugar into some scrambled eggs when they're first starting to get firm. Delicious.

Taylor: That actually sounds really good. :] I'll make sure to try that the next time we have them.

Sheimi: I wonder if that will help the people which couldn't see the taste now see it. :p Ah joking aside, that sound's good as well. I've also tried it once I think, and I rate it +1.

I like to make my own Breakfast Sandwhiches to, just toast your bread, and then either Poach the egg, or "Fry" it on the griddle. While the eggs cooking you throw a couple slices of ham on the griddle, and let them cook.

Once the egg and ham is done cooking put a slice of cheese on top of the egg, (egg still on the griddle) just long enough to make it "melty" I guess you could say. :p After that just put it all onto the toast. :)

Oh, and also here's a good Chocolate milk recipe.

1/2 Cup of Sugar
1/4 Cup of Cocoa (Hershey's is best)
1/3 Cup Water

Serves 4-6 possibly more, depening on how much you want to stretch it. xD

Mix in a cup the Sugar and cocoa, until it's well mixed.
Once that's done add the water, and mix well again.
Now just pour a bit of the mix into a couple cups, here's the part that you can't really tell an amount you really just have to eye-ball it. :/
Now all that's left is what makes it Chocolate Milk, Add milk until you find the flavor to your liking. :]

(You might be able to make a cup of milk first, then just add the mix like chocolate syrup however instead of the mix first. But I've never tried it. so don't blame me if it's bad. xD)

PS: My older brother told me this recipe.

Here's a simple recipe.

.:egg burrito:. (makes 2)

You'll need:

Scrambled eggs (see recipe at the bottom)
2 tortillas
A dash of black pepper
Ketchup
Spam or bacon bits
A pinch of salt (Optional)
-----------------------------
STEP 1: Place scrambled eggs on (cooked) tortillas.
STEP 2: Put every other ingredient on top of the eggs.
Step 3: Fold the tortillas and eat!

--------------------------------------------------------------
Scrambled Eggs

(2 servings) Printable Version

* 6 large eggs
* 6 teaspoons of low-fat milk (1 teaspoon for each egg)
* 3 dashes of salt (1 dash for every two eggs)
* 1 Tablespoon butter for frying

Heat a large non-stick frying pan
to a setting just above medium. A 12-inch pan works well for 6 eggs.

Do not add butter yet. We just want get the pan ready.

In large metal or glass mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk and salt. Beat vigorously for 2 minutes.

Alternatively, you can place the eggs, milk and salt in a blender and blend for 20 to 25 seconds. Allow the mixture to set for a couple minutes to let the foam settle.

Melt the butter in the frying pan. As the very last of the butter is liquefying, add the egg mixture.

Do not stir immediately. Wait until the first hint of setting begins. Start the Martha Stewart scrambling technique ("Using a spatula or a flat wooden spoon, push eggs toward center while tilting skillet to distribute runny parts.")

Continue this motion as the eggs continue to set. Break apart large pieces as they form with your spoon or spatula. You will come to a point where the push-to-center technique is no longer cooking runny parts of the egg. Flip over all the eggs. Allow the eggs to cook 15 to 25 seconds longer.
Transfer eggs to serving plates. Add salt and pepper to taste.

A note about milk and water: Soy milk works effectively in the recipe. Whole milk lends an overly milky taste to the eggs. No-fat milk and water can both be used in place of the low-fat milk but the creamy texture of the finished product is reduced.

This thread could be dangerous haha. I'm so ridiculously hungry right now after reading these.

BTW, I looooove chocolate milk. Something I'll never grow out of. =]

Now I want to go make those egg burritos, to bad I'm fixing to have dinner. xD

I don't just love Chocolate milk, I love all things chocolate! ;] (Well unless it's really dark chocolate.)

Tropical eggburgers. Weird, yet delicious.

8 small grade A eggs
4 Tsp oregeno
2 Tsp minced mint
3-4 chopped habereno peppers
Pinaple slices (optional).

You add the eggs, oregano, mint, peppers, and a little water in a bowl, till mixed very well. Wrap a small portion of the mixture in eatable plastic, put inside a burger with spice injector, and cook till medium rare. Optionally grill pinaple slices to put on top for sweetness.

Bananas
Yogurt
Peaches/Pears/Pineapple
Ice

Mix well in a blender. You have a delicious smoothie right there. *Nods*

dmaster out.

I'm sure you've probably heard of this, but it's awesome.

Chocolate cake in a mug:

4 Tablespoons Flour
4 Tablespoons Sugar
2 Tablespoons Cocoa
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons Milk
3 Tablespoons Oil
3 Tablespoons Chocolate chips (Optional)
Little splash of Vanilla

Basically throw everything in the Mug, mix REALLY good, and Microwave on 1000 Watts for 3 Minutes. Epic Cake.

Today, I'll show you my secret recipe. It's called pinaple on a stick. You will need pineapple, and a stick. First, you put the stick through the pineapple. Next, you will be amazed at how simple my secret recipe really was.

Something I like to make:

Raikou's Trail Mix

You'll need:
Banana Chips
Chocolate covered peanuts
Rasins
Mini Pretzel sticks (or chex)
Honey
a little oatmeal

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Get the Banana Chips, Rasins, Pretzel sticks (or chex) mixed up in a bowl. Squirt in a little bit of honey. Then add a pinch of oatmeal to your liking. (Not too much, or it'll be all lumpy) Mix well. Then, place it on a pan (with a baking sheet or sprayed lightly with Pam spray.) and spead it out well so it doesn't lump together. Bake in the oven for about 5 min-10 min at 300 degrees. (Don't let it burn! lol) After that, take it out of the oven and let it cool for about 5 min. (The honey should be like a glaze now.) After cooling, get a clean bowl, throw in the Mix from the pan, Add in the Chocolate covered peanuts. Give it a little mix. Then you're done.

I like to make this for snaking. It's a lot healthier than chips. Sometimes I even add in other types of nuts, like almonds or cashews.

Yeah, I like to cook. (Who knew?)

Here's another special recipe.

One of the best Filipino Delicacies.

Balut with Dinuguan:

Ingredients:
Dinuguan (Pig Blood.)
Balut (Fertilized Eggs with Embryo.)
Chocolate

Process:
Pour Dinuguan to Balut. Then melt chocolate then throw the chocolate.
Then, eat it. Then successfully digest it.

Try it out. Very yummy. :D

Sounds gross, but try it.

Z-Man: Are you tying to make everyones mouth get scratched? You didn't say anything about removing skin. >:[

Boracay-Jason: That sounds like Menudo. xD (As our family calls it Pig-gut soup. xD)

Raikou: Yes! I'm not the only person who likes to cook on here. :D

Although it's not much of a recipe, I like to get the advent calendars from Christmas, (If you celebrate it) and use the plastic trays to melt my own Hersheys chocolate into the molds, and then freeze them. (I can have an advent calendar in Summer. xD )

You don't have to remove the skin. <_<

I don't mean the skin, I meant the outsides, you know the part that hurts if you touch it with your hands, and you want people to eat it?! >:

(Lets not start a spam-fest, I was just joking. xD )

Um...

I love to cook and I want to persue a career as an executive chef. I don't have any recipes of the top of my head ATM but, i can post some up in a bit, some good ones.
