The Polter Trap HGSS-on

I got a "new" idea for a lock deck with a very nerving guy: Victreebel TR.
He's disruptive and fun to play.

Pokémon (29)
4x Victreebel TR
3x Weepinbell TR
4x Bellsprout TR
3x Mismagius UD
3x Misdreavus UD
2x Vileplume UD
2x Gloom UD
2x Oddish UD
2x Sunflora HS
2x Sunkern HS
1x Metapod HS
1x Caterpie HS

T/S/S (18)
2x Rare Candy
2x Pokémon Communication
3x PETM
2x Pokémon Collector
2x IQ
2x PONT
2x Judge
1x FSL
1x Twins
1x Seeker

NRG (13)
7x Grass
4x Psychic
2x Rescue

Strategy: Bellsprout Start, Sunkern -> Sunflora and then build up Vileplume and Bellsprout. Then Victreebel poisons and burns. Mismagius actually do the high damage thanks to Vileplume. Metapod for the huge fire decks upcoming.

Problems:
1. Too little damage output
2. maybe too many Pokémon
3. In early and late game I often have a lack of NRG
4. Reshiram still OHKO Victreebel even if Metapod is out there

Any good Attacker for this deck is needed! Please any suggestions.

I run Reshiboar and this deck is an auto lose to it. I would drop victreebel if you wanted to keep the theme of hand build up and poltergeist. I would get rid of mismagius if you wanted a special conditions deck. Hope I helped.

Okay thanks, 2 questions:
1. What schould I use, if I choose the Poltergeist idea?
2. What schould I use, if I choose the Special Conditions idea?
I looking for a decent attacker.

I could only help with the poltergeist idea. I am not good at special conditions decks. Here's a list and some possible techs:

4-3 Mismagius
3-2-3 Vileplume
4 Cleff
1 Ditto TM (build up Pokémon in opponents hand)

Supporters (only use supporters cause you lock trainers)

3 PONT (basic hand refresher)
2 Junniper
3 Pokemon Collector (Collect a oddish, Ditto, and other basics)
2 Seeker (Force opponent pick up last bench and end it)
2 PETM (Evolve pokemon)
3 rare candy

Energy

10 Phychic
9 Grass
2 Rescue

This is a skelaton list of 56 cards. There are 4 slots open for techs. It will be dreadfully slow at first but with techs and additions it might be a good deck.

The strategy

Start with cleffa and (using rare candies) set up a bench of at least a vile plume and mismagius. Free retreat cleffa and bring up mismagius. Poltergeist for extra damage due to trainer lock. Hope I helped and good luck.

probably shouldn't have half your deck be pokemon...try to keep it around a 20-ish pokemon maximum instead of 30-ish.

U can add 1-1 or 2-2 of roserade and rainbow energy for special condition and 1 or 2 shaymin
I think 3 vileplumes are too much but its ok

and ur line of mismagius 4-4 is better

Personally if you want Special conditions, go with one of these Pokemon lists

Leaferade

4-4 Leafeon UD
3-3 Roserade
4 Cleffa

Crobat/Houndoom

3-2-3 Crobat Prime
3-3 Houndoom Prime
3 Cleffa

Leafeon/Houndoom

3-3 Leafeon
3-3 Houndoom
3 Cleffa

On the Poltergueist list I can't really help, but those are deffinitally the lists for Special conditions in an HGSS on format. Modify the lines quanitities if you wish but thats what you run for special conditions.
