This tounament is focused around using only one type of pokemon in your deck. That is why it is "Purebred." The format is MD-on. You may not change your deck while the tounament is in play. The tounament is single elimination. Now for some theoretical FAQ's.

Can I use Special Energies in my deck?
Yes, you can use any special energies.
Can I use a Dark type Umbreon and a Normal type Eevee in my deck?
No, you may not. You can only use one type of pokemon in your deck, even if it is only for evolution purposes.
Can I use Fire type energys in a Water type deck?
No, your Pokemon type you have chosen must correspond with the energies, other than Special Energies[/b]
If I run a Colorless type deck, what energys do I use?
You may either use any Special Energies or any Basic Energies. No combining of these two. This rule only applies to Colorless decks. I know this is a little unfair, but if I let them go with all energys them they would overpower.
Can I use Pokepowers that allow me to switch my type?
Yes, you may, but the base type of that card must match your type that you use in the deck.
