as the XY gets a new expansion these are the list of my favorites for water type pokemons and i think itll make a huge difference in the GAME

1. Primal Kyogre EX - finally we will see the rise of this pokemon in the TCG pairing it with Manaphy EX and Golduck Break will be devastating to opponents and will be versatile for your part.

2. Manaphy EX - i can see this card being played in every water type deck isnt it handy to be able to retreat freely with just one water energy given with Golduck Break ability and Primal Kyogre EX attack.

3. Palkia EX - though it takes 2 energy cards to use its attack it is convenient to draw 2 energies in your deck to highten up the chances of getting more relevant card for that very moment.

4. Seismitoad EX - i cant see a reason why you shouldnt run this you can find many combos with this pokemon from empoleon to slowking to greninja break itll be devastating.

5. M Gyarados EX - you want fast attack with High power and high HP this is the card to get for that preference.

6. Empoleon (BKT) - added damage for your basics how convenient right? although itll take time its a great addition to your deck.

7. Slowking (BKP) - Nice tech card right youll be having a hard time when your opponent runs this theres no guarantee you can attack the time your turn comes

8. Greninja BREAK - 6 damage counters is a lot of damage speaks for itself with free retreat cost you can inflict at least 120 a turn no way! haha

9. Golduck BREAK - very useful when running a deck of PRIMAL KYOGRE EX being able to secure it right in front

10. SPLASH ENERGY - its like an AZ energy very useful with WAILORD EX if you just want to deck out your opponent.

i didnt add WAILORD EX because decking out your opponent is good but i cant see this having played in tourneys
 
I love this new expansion, because I really like the water type Pokémon! :D
And I agree with your list here, I just have a remark and a question :)
Mu remark is why you didn't add Swampert from Primal Clash or Octillery from BreakThrough? These 2 Pokémon, in my oppinion, don't get the credits they deserve! (I play a deck with these :p )
My question is:
What do you think about the attack of the new Slowbro? Usefull to add a slowbro in your deck, for this attack only, or not really?
 
Oh, sorry. I forgot the two first article fail in my side haha.

Slowbro for me is just a situational card. You'll only run it for the Slowking or much better if you have a Rare Candy, but it'll come in handy with a head to head match up, but it takes a lot of Energy card.
 
Though I love the enthusiasm, water types don't need any support, they have dominated the game since XY furious fist (Siesmitoad). On top of that, it was Keldeo Blastois that won worlds last year, and is a top tier deck in expanded. Water pokemon have dominated the format for a bit now. They should be looking for ways to slow them down versus speed them up. Having said all that, I'm a big fan M Kyogre EX so anything that might speed him is always a big bonus. :0)
 
I agree with Poke4trade! Primal Kyogre EX was my first deck I played, with the alpha growth ability!
And no, what I mean is that Slowking is a stage 1, not a stage 2, you don't need rare candy to evolve Slowpoke into Slowking.
