Writing The Rocket Wars 2: Ninel's Quest

Before you ask about the fics that take place prior to this one... Think of it being like the ORIGINAL Star Wars trilogy (4, 5, 6), which were released before their prequels due to more content and action. This fic a few aspects from these, and is also heavily based on the second Lion King movie, Simba's Pride.


Prologue:

Giovanni, and most of Team Rocket, have been killed in a "revenge" war led by the protagonist's parents. Eric Damon, and Peggy Owen (who married mere days later).

Eric and Peggy lived in a village on a remote island, and were devout followers of Arceus and the Pokemon of Legend. However, as Eric was about to propose to Peggy, Team Rocket attacked the Island of Turbia in a manner similar to Blitzkrieg, and the two lovers barely made it out alive.

Eric was saved by Mewtwo, but Peggy was taken as a future slave to Team Rocket. Eric could not survive without her, so Mewtwo felt obligated to rescue her for him, as Eric's grandfather Vladimir (who has died three years prior), saved Mewtwo fifty years ago.

Mewtwo told the two of a rebellion forming against Team Rocket, and requested them to join it, and work their ways up to get their revenge. This rebellion was led by Arceus itself, and the rebels took in Pokemon and human recruits that were affected by Team Rocket in any way shape or form, as well as stealing Pokemon from Team Rocket.

Ultimately, in the War for Viridian City, Giovanni and a majority of Team Rocket, were smitten. Arceus personally struck down Giovanni for the Rocket leader's many sins against humanity.

However, after Eric and Peggy got married, Giovanni's most loyal female follower Theril, began to gather the remnants of Team Rocket, and build a newer version of it, to avenge Giovanni.
Meanwhile,
Peggy became pregnant with Eric's daughter whom they will name Ninel, and Theril will attempt to mold a boy a year and a half older than Ninel, ( the boy is NOT Giovanni's biological son, Giovanni adopted him weeks before he was killed), to become the heir of Team Rocket.


This fic will follow Ninel and her forbidden friendship/love, with the boy Henry, who does not want anything to do with Team Rocket, but Theril is trying to control him.


I will try to post the first actual chapter before the end of next month (I am looking for a job IRL so that will take up most of my time)

Chapter One "Birth at a Pokemon Center"

Eric Damon, a young, relatively fit Caucasian brunette male, with green eyes, had received a phone call from his wife Peggy, an extremely beautiful black woman.

"Eric, I couldn't make it to the hospital, boo.. So I had to stop by the Fuchsia City Pokemon Center. The baby's coming!" Peggy said in a spicy African-American style accent.

"Peggy, my love. I'll be there as soon as I can, mate." Eric told her, in his wild Australian accent, ending the call to rush to his wife, who couldn't hold in their first child much longer.


Eric was in Mewtwo's lair, the place he and his wife called home for the past two years, but they have only been married the last ten or so months of that time.

The high-tech equipment in the lair was reminiscent of Mewtwo's old lair at New Island.

Eric pulled out a Pokeball from his belt, and went to the dock on the island.
Eric silently sent out his Flygon.

"Flygon! Take me to the Fuschia Pokemon Center! Quick! Peggy's having the baby!" Eric shouted.

"Sir, yes sir!" Flygon said, and Eric hopped on its back, and they were off.

Eric and Peggy had the ability to talk to any Pokemon, and fully understand it as words. They are the last surviving members of a number of tribes who called themselves People of the Aura, and their legacy will not die any time soon with the baby on the way.


Flygon arrived at the Fuchsia Center in a matter of minutes.

"We have arrived, Comrade Eric." Flygon said as they landed.

Eric hopped off, and called Flygon back to its Pokeball with a simple "Thanks. Now where is she?" That last part he thought out loud.

Eric went to the desk, and asked "Do you know which room my wife is in? She's the only human that's.. A patient here. We're having our first child."

The receptionist smiled.

"I know you! You're the young couple who saved us all from Team Rocket! I saw you two on the news, and by the way... Congratulations on becoming parents!" The receptionist exclaimed. "Go down the hall, take a right, and it should be the third door on the left!"

"Great. Thanks." Eric said, rushing to his wife's side.

The Chansey assistant in the room was helping to deliver the baby.

"Just ONE more push!" The Chansey said.

Peggy shouted in pain, and Eric helped calm her down after the ordeal was over.

"You... Made it... Thank Arceus!" Peggy sighed.

"It's a girl!" the Chansey exclaimed. "Congratulations!"

"So.. What would you like to name her?" Eric asked, kissing his wife on the cheek.

"You pick. I can't think much because I'm in so much pain..." Peggy told him.

"I'll name her after my grandmother, who was killed that fateful night when Team Rocket attacked our home."

The Nurse Joy came in with the birth certificate, and Eric wrote down "Ninel Grace Damon" as his daughter's name.

Suddenly, the couple realized they were being watched by a Slowpoke and a Cubone they helped raise during the Rocket Wars last year.

The Cubone walked in first and asked "What did you name him?

"Actually. It's a girl..." Eric said.

"WHADDYA MEAN IT'S A GIRL?!" Cubone shouted

The Slowpoke walked in and said "Eric.. Peggy. I heard you guys.. Just.,.. got... Married."

"Slowpoke... That was ten months ago. I just had a baby." Peggy explained.


"Oh. Right...." Slowpoke yawned.

Newborn Ninel, meanwhile, was being wrapped in a soft blanket and was handed to Peggy.

The baby then let out a loud yell, and Eric was proud to finally be a father.
"Eric... She has your eyes." Peggy said

"And she has your nose.' Eric retorted.

Moments later.... Mewtwo seemingly teleported out of nowhere, into the room where Peggy gave birth.

"I sincerely apologize for missing the miracle of childbirth, but I have grave news. Arceus has informed me that Team Rocket is gradually starting to regroup. I believe that they intend to avenge Giovanni." Mewtwo explained, in a deep, monotone English accent.


"Crikey! What in the name of Arceus are we supposed to do, Comrade Mewtwo?!" Eric shouted.

Mewtwo sighed.

"I will allow you to raise your child in peace. I know a distant island community where Team Rocket will hopefully stay away from. I advise that you get your rest, and pack your things. Do not despair, there are many strong Trainers that reside there, and they are willing to help." Mewtwo explained.

"Gotcha... But I'll let you know, Mewtwo... Childbirth... Takes a lot out of you. I'm still in pain." Peggy told Mewtwo, trying to catch her breath still after giving bith.

Mewtwo teleported itself along with Eric, Peggy, Ninel, Cubone, and Slowpoke back to its lair for the night.
