Super Pokémon Scramble is a sequel to the 2009 WiiWare game, Pokémon Rumble. It's a fully-fledged 3DS game and features you controlling a toy Pokémon through a variety of stages, taking out the Pokémon you encounter as you go through.

This game introduces the Pokémon from Pokémon Black & White into the toy-Pokémon fold and will have you controlling and unlocking them. It has a single player mode, as well as a two player local multiplayer as well as Street Pass capabilities for obtaining Pokémon.

Super Pokémon Scramble has numerous different Game Modes including the standard gameplay mode where yo go through levels, the Battle Royale mode and the brand new Charge Battle which has you control a massive army of toy Pokémon.

Ummm...what to say...

I'm looking forward to this. I enjoyed the first one, and wasn't really expecting a second one.

Imma very excited for this. I'm still playing the first one, (New file, completing collection, etc.) and this one looks like a lot of fun. I'm excited for Charge Battles, IN 3D. Ooh...

It looks interesting, the first one was fun and all,but I do hope they add a greater deal content this time around...
I detest the thought of it being solely for the 3DS,why it isn't slated for a wii release is beyond my understanding...Maybe its just a cash-in...

AI CAN'T WAYT

This game looks completely SWEET! Here I come, Groudon in 3D and all tiny n cudlleh!!!!1!!

And I love all the new modes, their all creative. I might import because I don't have the patience to wait.

I was looking through some screenshots just now, and I happened to stumble upon this. There's a few Poochyena and a Carvanha in the Battle Royale, and if anyone's familiar with the original Pokémon Rumble, only 1st and 4th Gen Pokémon were available to use. Was there any confirmation as of late that suggested that Gen 3 (or perhaps Gen 2 and 3, thus all 649) Pokémon were going to be included in the game, or is this just a construct of the screenshot/some other demo? The models are all there from My Pokémon Ranch, and I wouldn't anticipate it to be too difficult to port all those over to the 3DS in addition to the new 5th Gen models, hmm…

Yes, it's been confirmed a loooong time ago that Pokémon of all generations appear in the game.

I wish I had a 3DS, Rumble was one of my favorite WiiWare games. And in this one, they seem to have fixed the major problems (too repetitive, only 1st and 4th gen). It looks really awesome.

Also, because American Kirby is Hardcore, that box art will change drastically when it gets released in America.

Well, that warrants a facepalm, I never even bothered to check Google after I missed that…kinda important update, haha (boy do I hate my frontal lobe and shoddy mobile web browsing for that…). But now that I know, that's great! I was kind of scratching my head as to why they weren't in the original Pokémon Rumble (maybe memory issues, dunno), but it never really bothered me too much, I felt the 48 stages between the two modes made more than a complete game for WiiWare at the time. But whatever the case, to talk about the series in respect to the prospects for the coming sequel, I think that WiiWare was the perfect opportunity for Ambrella to launch an experiment as to how that sort of a Pokémon fighting (or real-time whatever in 3D) game would be work and then be received, without their game in question having to necessarily pass as a full-fledged disc game, which naturally comes with considerably higher expectation, at least from more tech-savvy fans (though that shouldn't be the case when artistry trumps specs/memory constraints…), and thus more risk, both financially but even more so for the idea. However, now that Rumble's been out for a year-and-a-half, with I would say great reception, for (to dispel some cynicism) what it was bear in mind, from nearly everyone except the critics (surprise? :p) – and introducing the demo helped immensely with that – so, hopefully Ambrella's taken that into account to really substantiate the content that's in Super Pokémon Scramble, and capitalize on building a series/franchise. If that's their intent I hope they'd take that approach – Ambrella in respect to its Pokémon projects has always been a cornerstone for the innovation of Pokémon games, and by hence developing completely different games for completely different systems between any two given projects (i.e. Dash and PokéPark), I came to believe that this foil approach was sort of their "thing," which for the games they made I definitely appreciated myself. So I think it'll be interesting to see where they take Rumble/Scramble in terms of franchise-building, since it's a little bit of a stark turn in direction (because the original Rumble was their last released project though, perhaps not so much), and regardless, I mentioned in an earlier thread on the upcoming game, but there are so many ways you can refine the experience the original Rumble brought (one of the few exceptions where I'd personally say reinventing should be out of the picture; rather they've got to invent period), since the original was in many ways of a moderately experimental nature (which I think turned out to be a great thing, often many disagree when it comes to that sort of game-making; naturally it'd depend on the individual case though).

I am really looking forward to this game although i did not play the first one i hear there are new modes for it so m really looking forward to it

I enjoyed the 1st one on the wii.
This one will be beter just because of the 3D graphics. I hope you don't start out with a Ratta again... ^-^"

I hope they don't have such a long, unskippable, totally useless and boring openning cutscene this time.

^@Dark Void
They'll probaly have a openning to show off 3DS' 3D graphics, but i hope you can skip it this time.

...Well, Pokémon Rumble didn't have a long opening cutscene, either. As far as I can remember, it only lasted about 30 seconds before you were in the middle of a Battle Royale. That was a perfect way to start, really - showing you a glimpse of what challenges you were fighting to reach.

I might get this game for X-Mas, because I told my mom today I only wanted 3 things-a 3DS, Pokedex 3D, and this game. I told her I needed a 3DS because they're making Pokemon games exclusively for it.

This better be worth it, but it already looks like it is! :D
