This is a deck that takes advantage of the new Alolan Exeggutor we're getting in SM6. All you need to know about the card is that it has 160hp and an attack with G cost that deals 20+20 for each different type of basic energy card in your discard pile (up to 5).

Strategy is simple, get as many battle compressors as you can as fast as you can and start thinning your deck, dump energy and eggs in discard, bring them back out and start looking for energy. Mr. Mime is there against Buzzwole decks to prevent or at least delay an unfortunate auto-loss situation with Jet Punch.

Lurantis is just one of the ideas I had for a partner, but the more I think of it the less I like it due to Hex Maniac happy Zoroark players limiting its ability to add damage compared to standard. I think I should probably replace those 6 cards with tech attackers, taking advantage of my energy spread, as well as cards that help me thin the deck faster and more consistently like trainers' mails.

I considered Sudowoodo BKT as one of those for the but would like some other suggestions on potential attackers, i'm not wedded to running these particular energies of course, so long as I have 5 different basic energies in my deck and one of them is grass. I realize that by attaching them I will only have 100 damage shakes, but that's okay so long as I'm playing for 2HKOs since I just need a choice band on one of the two turns I attack into something with over 200hp.

I think an issue is prizing any of the non-grass energy as that cuts into your damage. You might want to run more then just 4 non-grass or a gladeon

Yeah, I know it's a major issue for the deck which is why I run a rotomdex as a potential out. It's not that big of a deal provided you only prize one. 100 damage is enough to 2HKO anything provided you can find a choice band, which is fine using a one prize one attachment attacker. IMO spending a supporter to get one card is a tacit admission of a lost game in the hell-format that expanded has become which is why other decks that can be prize crippled like Archies/Maxies also tend to neglect it in favor of rotomdex.

As for increasing non-grass counts, it's pretty expensive deck-space wise to have enough to guarantee that I have all 5 colors in discard considering that those are dead cards in any other context. I might add an extra fighting or another color if I find a compelling enough attacker.
