The current situation looks like it will be a Hung Parliment, but interestingly Labour could still beat the conservatives ;]

I don't know anything about United Kingdom Polotics, but I keep remembering back to when the canidate for Labour came into the chatroom and we made fun of him. It's funny he still has a chance to win.

It all depends on what the liberal democrats decide to do, join labour or the conservatives, they have all the power to be honest.

Let me assure you, that wasn't him...

^Yeah. Seems pretty unlikely that Gordon Brown'd be going into pokemon chatrooms.

In any case, hung parliament, few more weeks of stuff before we have a definitive prime minister. Not much else to say.

Well, I jsut hope for the future of the world that David Cameron does not become Prime Minister.

It was Gordon Brown, he took the time to go on a Pokemon forum and onto the chat room, I saw his name with my own eyes.

Yeah, I logged on as Gordon Brown because I was bored. Then I did David Cameron in a new tab.

Guilible people ;]

Anyway. Labour needs to get a co-elision magority.

No, Labour can't form a government with the Lib Dems because they'd still need 11 more seats to get the majority. And by the way, the Green Party got their first ever seat in Parliament. YAY!

Oh, fair enough. However, David Cameron has also offered to join the Lib Dems...

"Thank God the BNP hasn't got a seat." Even if they got a seat, which they didn't, they still wouldn't get much influence.

To be honest, it's a shame that some of the smaller parties have to struggle against the large parties. For example, If we had proportional representation, the Greens would get more seats, the Lib Dems would also get more seats. That would also unfortunately mean that the BNP would probably get a seat or two.

Yes we would. e.g. Lib Dem get 28% (or whatever they got) of the votes. They get 28% of the seats in Parliament.

What I mean is that we wouldn't be able to have MPs representing their constituancies. If the proportional representation was for the whole country (which it always will be), then there won't be constituancies.

We really need labour to form a coalition with lib dems. We cant let Conservatives win, all they care about are the rich people :/.
