get two radicates. one girl and one boy. put them in the pokemon breeding center. one radicate must have the move quick attack and the other endeaver. if you do not have those moves than the process is ruined. hen the radicates have an egg. hatch it and the ratta should have the moves quick attack and endeaver. i forget what its called, but there is an item that prevents a pokemon from fainting. get the item and put it on the ratta. go into a battle with the ratta. because of the item ratta cannot faint. use endeaver. the enemy pokemon should have 1 hp left. use quick attack on the enemy pokemon and there you go you won the battle.

This is an old strategy, everyone knows about it.

The item you're thinking of is the Focus Sash, a one-use item that prevents fainting if the holder would faint from an attack at 100% HP.
