The TCG Underdogs ​

This thread is mainly for posting your favorite Pokemon card and why you like it, but we're not going to post level x, ex, or holo cards. We're going to post the blackstar rares, uncommons, and common cards instead. These cards I call underdogs because they are rarely known as someone's favorite type of card.

All you have to do is this...

1. Post a rare, uncommon, or common are all three if you wish. Please post a picture of the card.

2. Explain why you like this or these cards, depending on how many you posted.

3. Make sure to tell what set the cards from, and other basic information to indentify the card for those who have not seen it before.

You may have not seen me on this side of the forums before, but I'm a big fan of Pokemon TCG. Please post on this thread. Hopefully, it has not been made before and does not go against the forum rules. Thanks, and have fun! :)

PS. I'll post my favorite rare, uncommon, and common cards after some of you do. :D
 
i don't know how to post pictures but my favorite underated card is probably unown Z, unown z removes damage and put's it on the defending so if you don't kill it you just get hurt again it also combo's with stuff that deals you damage
 
Manectric MT - Rare

I haven't got it working consistently, but Manectric + Leafeon Lv X would be a gun deck. IMO, Manectric is like a Magmortar on crack. It's first attack is the same but it's second attack is superior to Fireball Bazooka... Too bad it only has 80 HP.

Aerodactyl MD - Rare

If it's played with something that can get out ANY card (stupid Old Amber D:<) like Jirachi, you can get 2 of these out by T3, which can be game-breaking. Goes great with Empoleon, too (in fact, I'm running that for BR's).

Exeggutor LA - Uncommon

Its first attack can be scary. Deplete your hand with Alakazam (and stoping your opponent's powers), then Psychic strategy and give you opponent a miniature or non-existent hand, then with Alakazam stop them drawing it back with Claydol/Uxie. Could also work with Omastar. Second attack, with three Electivire SW on the bench, makes it the new Kingdra (1 energy for a 2HKO like, all the time)

Swalot LA - Uncommon

Swalot's basic, Gulpin, has an attack called "amnesia", which means you can stop the defending pokemon from using one of its attacks. Swalot has an attack which, if Swalot has more HP than the defending pokemon, then it does 80 damage (otherwise only 30). Going first, a T1 Amnesia on their starter and a T2 KO and Gunk Shots (which 2HKO basically anything) from T3 can make this a mean deck.

Grumpig LA - Uncommon

Really annoying first attack and Crush is awesome, so yeah. And the illustration is awesome.

Porygon 2 GE - Uncommon

I must admit, I've never tried this, but I love Porygon 2, it's a cute pokemon (also, 2nd gen ftw!), a great illustration, and it's a really cool poke-power which goes awesomely with Stantler, I'd assume. And its evolution is completely underrated. I'm gonna go try this deck now! Bai!

Pelipper GE - Uncommon

Don't ask.

Yeah, I guess I like all those cards.
 
Wow, you have a lot of great deck strategies. I'm not the best at them. I'm more of a collector, but Porygon2 is my favorite Pokemon! That's a coincidence. I've always wanted that Porygon2 prerelease. :)

I think the Grumpig's neat. Illustration means a lot to cards! Nice choices of cards! :p
 
Is Shiftry a holo or a rare.

This thread is only for rares, uncommons, and commons.
