the unofficial : "is my card fake" thread

i have seen a lot of these lately, and i think we need a thread for this
so post if you guys want to know if your card is fake
here is an example:
i put...

i was looking through my cards, and i noticed that my dialga lv x (from great encounters) wasnt holographic. it didnt have the shiny border like other lv x's either.
it isnt promo, and everything else looks legit.
i dont remember where i got it... probably from a trade, as i dont waste my money buying cards anymore
so you think its fake?

and then members responded saying it was fake fake

It's fake, no question. All Lv. X's have those borders.

is this fake.. TM's Baltoy, back was greeny blue, didn't have the 'tm', font wasn't normal.

Definately fake. I haven't played for 1/2 a year and can easily tell it's fake. I could understand back being a different shade blue as something coukld have spilled, and tm might not be on due to wear or something, but the font being different gives it away.
