Have anyone played this Square Enix's DS game? I heard its good. If you do play it, will you recommend it to others?

YES YES YES. Buy this game is all I can say. It's one of the very best on this system, and SE hit the mark on this new IP (something they rarely make). It really shows a company's diverseness, and man, is this game different. In a good way. :D

dmaster out.

This is probably the best DS game I've played for a while. Its got RPG, action, amazingly odd (but still amazingly good controls), a lot of costumibility, and just a good story. Plus, I've heard it gives you a handheld sketch of Shibuya, Japan. :D Anyways, buy it. Anyone who doesn't own this game hasn't gotten the most they can out of their DS.

I especially love the characters (sho minamimoto especially). They all have their personalities.

Yes its really good and has great music. It seems kind of complicated at first because of all the pins and using two screens but after awhile you get the hang of it. I highly recommend it.

TWEWY is an amazing game, definitely a contender if not winner for Best Game of the Year (2008). While the learning curve is pretty high for an RPG, every fight can be redone (upon losing) instantly at the lowest difficulty, if you don't feel like power-leveling / learning the scheme a bit better.

The game is an absolute masterpiece. The team at Jupiter did a really good job with it and Nomura's character designs are just stunning.

The soundtrack is fantastic too, I still listen to it constantly.

There was a secret ending where Neku took off his headset and it shows "The World Begins With You"

Do you think SE would likely make a sequel in ps3,psp or Wii?

I'm certain the series is gonna stay on the DS; if it moves anywhere it would change dramatically because the battle system depends on a touch screen.

I can see the Wii being a viable system too though.

I can't...unless they make you buy the wiimotionsensor plus, the system isn't going to be able to sense differences between your strokes like the touch screen can. Even with that add-on it's not as accurate as the touch screen, which many have considered a detriment itself.

Some great games like TWEWY can't be ported to the wii. Sry guys... too much. I'd like to see a TWEWY 2 for the wii though.

TWEWY is really an awesome game. I can't imagine someone who doesn't have this game. It is really a game with the perfect storyline and combat system. Square Enix did a great job on making this game.

Also, the characters are amazing, each having their own attitudes and themes. But, my absolute favorite is Joshua, he has the attitude I was looking for in that game. Besides, he's strong and cool.

I see this game as the big hit after Kingdom hearts series ends(possibly). Also, the mobile like iPhones has the touch screen feature as well, which can be a suprise bomb if TWEWY would released in that platform with a side story or sort..

Funny thing is, I actually remember seeing this thread a few years ago--and WOAH, this looks like quite exciting stuff...unfortunately, I have no more words than the average excited man would have and am a bit occupied at the moment, so I can't really think of what else to say, but...I'll keep an eye on this thread. ^_^

Good Lord this thread is old.

But so many tears of joy have been shed. I can't wait.

The fandom has been reignited with the spark of the hope of a sequel!

So excited for this!!!

Man. Vertical integration, am I right? The characters appeared in KH DDD, so now that more people know about it they could make a sequel
that will get better sales. I don't think I got that right.
Anyway much excitement. If it is a sequel I wonder if it will be like Pokemon [different protagonist, etc.] or if Neku is appearing again.

On another note, I want to see Shiki's face.
