Are you aloud to stick a random evoloution in a deck that you can't play? Like sticking Gardy in without a ralts? I don't want to evolve, that is not what i am asking. No, i am not a complete fool.....i have my reasons. Just wondering if it is legal.^_^

You sure? The reason i ask is because i am making a deck around alakazam star. He can discard evos from my hand and copy their attacks, so i don't need to evolve.

As to the question, you can, its like asking if you can have a not finished pokemon line in your deck. Like having the basic but no evos, the theme decks have that. That combo you have isnt bad, but the deck shouldnt be based on that, you can only have one Zam* in the deck.

A) starting, seeing that most cards don't have singular energy attacks
B) Surviving, seeing that he only has 90 HP (Energy root may work)
C) Actually attacking (Shining Horners)

I tried it out a little. You're right, having 1 main guy is really hard. I use mew ex, but that doesn't help much. i was using it with pokemon that represent each type of strategy, so i could adapt instantly. Are there any other pokemon that can use your benched pokemon's attacks or get pokes back from the discard with a power?
Good idea, and I'm pretty shure they'll allow you to put single Gardy without preevo's. But you can die quickly, unless you have Mew ex, who copies attacks, then you can have up to5 Alakazam Stars, if you put 4 Mew ex and 1 Alex star, just keep alex on the bench, that could be good. If you wanna try it out, i'll battle you on Apprentice. Just PM me if you wanna battle.

You know what he means. This may not be a great deck, but coming up with the idea showed me that kazam * is an awsome tec in many decks (level xs!!!).
