I'm a fairly new player as well- my experience is limited to the Game Boy Color game and PTCGO. In my case, I'm going to be heading up a TCG club at my local library, for kids ages 6-11. I was wondering if there was a deck I could buy and then play without having to modify it. I read in another thread that the BREAKPoint Greninja deck takes some modification to use correctly, although it's really good. I've already written down the other decks in this thread- are they good for new players?

Yeah! These theme decks mentioned here can be purchased online or at your local store for around $12. They are playable right out of the box and would be perfect for the situation you described. They won't hold up well against other decks, but hold up well against one another. Best of luck to you
Thanks. I'll make sure to look for those. Most players are going to be really casual- I looked at some of their card binders, and their collections cover everything from 1st edition Basic, Jungle, and Fossil cards to more recent releases. Hopefully, some of these kids can turn their cards into playable decks and have some fun.
