Where do you get all the money to buy Pokémon TCG Cards from?

I want to buy a Whole box of Pokémon Cards but that would cost about £300!

if your spoilt you cry to your mum for one,
beg your parents for one,
save up your pocket money for one,
sell some of your cards for one,
ask for one for christmas.

that pretty much sums it up for most of us. I work, so I save some of that money to buy cards. otherwise, it's not really worth it. (to buy boosters, that is.)

you dont have to spend alot what i recommend is buying a fair amount of cards and then taking all those cards and trading them all for what you need. I traded 2 ex's (a sceptile ex delta, that i got for a hitmontop and a hitmonchan base, and a rayquaza ex that i got after i bought two boosters) and got essentially every trainer in my deck, and a few holons magnetons. Usually you'll get somethings people want, if you really want to make alot of good trades, save up and when power keepers comes out buy a box. Then trade with all the people that try to make complete sets, that try to get aton of the all holos and trade them all like a maniac. You can get a ton of stuff doing that.

Edit: My dad refuses to buy me Pokémon Cards for Christmas because I have enough... >_>
