Those Oh So Forgotten decks

Many decks that are still legal to the modified format seem to never be seen anymore. I don't know about anyone else's area but I don't ever see a lot of these decks even in local play. I think it is time to DISCUSS this lol.
Turbo Blissey
Blast Catty
GG
Iplox
Fossils
Absol/Gallade
Why do you guys think that these decks can't survive in the current competition? Are there any other older decks that people remember, that bring back feelings of nostalgia?

Well I got beat in the face by a Promonoir/Queen deck this weekend, so Duskenoir is another you should add to the list.

Most of them are to slow irhabe so many new counters they can't work anymore, as each set hoes on, the cards (usually) get better

Hippo>Blissey, though they are both meh.
BlastCatty is wrecked by SP.
GG is still played.
iPlox is not.
Fossils we're never playable.
Absol/Gallade...you mean GG? If so, not many people play Absol anymore due to the fact that it would just fuel a dol or Uxie, though I still think hitting key cards wins games.

Im not fimiliar with t2une? Anyway do you think any of these decks could be modified or improved, also actually gallade with absol was very common here last season. It is a tech against speedrill and slowing down the other person's set up.

Many people like to think that these decks can't stand up to the current competition, but it's just not true. I've seen a lot of these decks in the past few months. I actually built an Absol/GG deck that I barely played with. My friend has a good GG deck right now with Mesprits and he power locks people and the deck has done better than I expected in tournaments. He also plays with Dusknoir as usually does pretty well. I recently built a Blastcatty deck and have been playing with it a lot. I think all I have lost to has been this gay lightning deck. I haven't played any other people's SP decks with it yet, but it did fine against my Gallade 4 deck, only losing by a double Crobat drop. I just think that most people don't use it cuz they always want to move on to the next big thing, or whatever is new. These decks are still around, but they don't get too much attention anymore.

I think Rampardos can still make a comeback in my opinion. Well, at least in the weird areas where Dialga G is still heavy.

In my area rampardos and rampchamp are still fairly common : / and we have 0 dialga in play anymore. They do ok, and sometimes take the advantage over flygon's.(prevents sand wall)

With Gengar and Dialga G losing popularity, I guess we could see slightly more Rampardos. Problem is, Power Spray and Mesprit lock. If they prevent your Uxie then you are in major trouble.

Not with Claydol and Chatot for support or if you play it before they get 3 SPs. :)

The real problem with rampardos is when you face beedrill. That 150 makes me cry. :[

^^And not to mention he is probably going to head smash ya, so that is 190 damage when bee is set up. And Ramp cant keep up with that.

fossils never playable? In south florida, a guy top cut with kabutops...6-1 iirc

At a BR last week I actually saw a master playing Blissey MT. Don't know how well he did though.

A good flygon still beats Rampardos. NIdoqueen Will stop FLy X from being killed, and wind erosion prevents consistency, and causes disruption. Flygon>Rampardos,

#5000 FTW! ~~~~~!!!!~~~~
