I know this thread is kinda pointless, just wanted to get something across. There's a looming threat (maybe) to the secondary market of Trading Card Games and Collectible Card Games in general, including ebay card sales as well.
Starting February 10, 2009 a new federal law passed by the government will make it illegal to re-sell any used children's products including toys and clothing.
Then I was like does this include TCG/CCG's as well too? Since when was the last time I heard of Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, or Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that actually contained lead?
Turns out we're safe, this law doesn't affect the re-selling and the secondary market of Trading Card Games and Collectible Card Games as well. Most preferably this law mainly affects actual toys or clothing...
Yeah I know what you're thinking when you search up the sale of a card on ebay the site counts it as a toy but at the same time it's not cause it's a "card". Then after some more browsing I found this...
