Okay, ULP is coming up close, so It's a great time to start playtesting shortly before prereleases. Once ULP becomes legal (3 weeks after official release), we get the Newgaleo and Newnala boxes, and Newgaleo paired oldgaleo GX, in addition to all the metal support, becomes absolutely busted. Now, some sources are saying the new boxes are being postponed, much like the promo Tapu Lele from the pin collection we were supposed to get in late August, yet to be released. But if we DO get it, It's all over. I believe with every fiber in my being that it will be BDIF, but that being said, here's the list I've been testing:

Pokemon:15
  • 4 Cosmog(any of them work)
  • 3 Cosmoem SUM
  • 2 Solgaleo GX (New promo)
  • 2 Solgaleo GX SUM
  • 1 Dusk Mane Necrozma GX
  • 1 Solgaleo ◇
  • 2 Tapu Lele GX
Trainers: 31
  • 4 Sycamore
  • 3 N
  • 2 Cynthia
  • 3 Brigette
  • 3 Guzma
  • 1 Cyrus ◇
  • 1 Choice Band
  • 1 Metal Frying Pan(I'm pretty sure this isn't in Ultra Prism, but some people are telling me SM5+ is. If it isn't, just play a copy of Heavy Boots)
  • 4 Ultra Ball
  • 4 Rare Candy
  • 2 Max Potion
  • 2 Field Blower
  • 1 Rescue Stretcher
Energy:14
  • 4 DCE
  • 10 Metal
There are some interchangeable cards in this list if you so choose. You could drop a Sycamore or an N for a 3rd Cynthia, drop the Cyrus for a Gladion or Skyla. You could even play Evosoda if you wanted to. This is just what I'm playtesting, and I find it super broken. Oh, you could also up the Brigette count to 4 if you want to that badly. But against Glaceon, you only have to worry about going second.

Here are my suggestions:
-1 Drying Pan (not needed)
-1 N (Cynthia's better :p
-1 Candy (Not needed)
-1 Brigette (2 is good enough)
+1 Cynthia
+1 Max Potion (it's just too good)
+2 Choice Band (It helps DM Necrozma and Oldgaleo in the mirror)

Actually, Frying Pan is great. In the mirror, they need a Band AND a Field Blower for the KO, and when playing against something you KO no matter what, it helps when you can wait a turn before being forced to Max Potion. Of course, Heavy Boots is a mediocre card to the same effect, so that could drop for another Band if we Don't immediately get the Pan in ULP. I disagree on the N point. Being able to force your opponent to shuffle their hand back in is amazing, and that simply won't change. I also think that 3 Brigette is absolutely necessary when you can't always Lele for it. You want to T1 Brigette under just about every circumstance, I also Don't see that change happening. -1 Candy is totally personal preference. I like playing 3 Cosmoem and 4 Candy so I can overwhelm my opponent with Solgaleo as fast as possible. And if you can find space for the 3rd Max Potion, the more power to you. I was testing with 3 Max Potion, but I realized I was running 61 cards, and had to drop something, so that was my first choice.

For your point about N I guess it's also personal preference I'd rather draw into a card that will always get me 6 cards, as opposed to a potential 1-6 cards with disruption :/ Also I can kind of see your reasoning for Pan, but I feel like you absolutely need more bands.

you could always drop a Sycamore for a Cynthia, splitting to a 3-3-3 line. Hey, you could drop the Candy and a DCE for a Max Potion and a Band. Like I said in the post, there are some interchangeable cards, and that's just what I had playtested, which was extremely limited to new decks compared to current ones. Most of my card explanations for new decks are on paper, so it can easily fall apart as it can destroy something.
