Well, the title pretty much says it all, what do you think the top 5 underhyped cards in Triumphant are? Great chance to be able to look back at this and say "I told you so" to your friends, league members etc...
Here is my list: 5.) Alph Lithograph (the look at your prizes one) 4.) Ditto 3.) Solrock 2.) Hunter (I know this is being hyped, but not enough, card of the set IMO) 1.) Lost Remover.
List overhyped cards if you want, but I can't think of much that is getting hyped that doesn't deserve it.

^Dialga G X is way too popular for that to work. The reason gyarados works is because there are barely any ways to get around the huge damage output and HP. I think that the grumpig is really underrated as well. It can lock powers and hit for big damage.

5. Alph Lithograph. The Azelf after Azelf.
4. Golduck. Excellent combo with Feraligatr Prime.
3. Seviper. Skuntank G + a Stadium = T2 90 or an OHKO on Machamp or Vileplume.
2. Grumpig. Bench Manipulation can be deadly against the right decks.
1. Machamp Prime. Slow, but brutal - and it powers itself up.

1. Machamp Prime. It'll be a good partner with donphan prime
2. Yanmega Prime. Possible 70 damage for 0 energies sounds enticing.
3. Rescue Energy. I feel it will be used as much as Call
4. Lucario. Could be a possible counter to Lost World decks.
5. Electivire. Charges itself and it's second attack seems like it has potential

I love how people say Yanmega prime when DialgaChomp is hot right now and LuxChomp usually has 1-1 DGX in it.

Seriously, Yanmega ain't good.

THE TRUTH HURTS
If you say Yanmega isn't good, you're also saying Gengar isn't good. (Mainly Deafen lock)

THAT DOESN'T WORK BECAUSE GENGAR DOESN'T USE ITS BODY (unless it is Mew gengar which doesn't work anyways). I highly doubt you are going to sit there and deafen lock the whole game, it has an attack you know, also so doesn't Gengar lv.X and Gengar SF if it is teched in to the list.

@vulpix yolk

However, dialga also shuts down mew's body as well as gengar's, so the whole deck idea is ruined if you're going for getting pokemon into the lost zone.

Given it destroys one version of LostGar, but not the good one, plus like I said, the deck can do some damage.

I agree with Yanmega Prime being massively underhyped... sure in the current format it will get dominated, but those of us with the gift of foresight see how epic it will probably be (given a DGX like card doesn't get released in the Black&White cards) once Platinum is rotated. Also, I haven't being seeing any hype for Spiritomb that can make your opponents draw into cards for LostGar or VileGar (though the loss of a trainer lock spiritomb may hurt too much, I shall have to run the numbers and test it later).

I've been mainly surprised by with a fair bit of talk about Mew Prime, Relicanth has gone under the radar a bit. It gives you a decent draw engine for 1 colourless, with the added bonus of putting cards into the lost zone that Mew Prime can use. Obviously with lost world its giving them another card in there, but I still think it works nicely with Mew Prime

1). Celebi prime-honestly kinda like Smeargle from UD except it attaches energies

2). Black Belt- Great card, do i think it will have a huge impact on the meta? No, can it be used as a great comeback card? Yes.

3). Rescue Energy- A lot of people have seen the obvious combo w/ Gyarados but it can be used effectively in many other decks, particulary stage twos or even SPs(rescuing back a Garchomp C X for example)

4). Absol Prime- Not that good but it has a very annoying body, and combos nicely w/ Curse Gar. The attack is better now that Lost World doesn't hurt it, can OHKO Gengars.

5). Mew Prime- This guy is another pokemon that IMO benefits from no lost world. W/him you can literally pick which attacks you want to use, giving you a whole lot of options to choose frome. The HP is bad but since it's a basic it is easy to recover and plus you would MOST likely only choose one energy attacks anyways(Take out and Mass Attack comes to mind) Just an overall great tech card, not AS good as Mew Ex of old but could get up there.
