I went 4-1-1 and finished Top 8 at the ARG Circuit Series here in Las Vegas today! Very proud of my deck and performance. I played Buzzwole GX/Lycanroc GX. The list I played is very consistent and there's nothing I would change. Zygarde EX was the MVP because two of the decks I played against used the Mewtwo from Evolutions and another used Mew EX, so having a backup attacker that wasn't weak to Psychic came in handy. Here's my list and how my matchups went.

****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ******

##Pokémon - 15

* 3 Buzzwole-GX CIN 104
* 1 Zygarde-EX FCO 54
* 2 Rockruff GRI 73
* 2 Lycanroc-GX GRI 138
* 1 Regirock-EX FCO 43

****** Deck List Generated by the Pokémon TCG Online www.pokemon.com/TCGO ******

Round 1: Golisopod/Garbodor (Won)
Round 2: Zoroark/Lycanroc (Won)
Round 3: Zoroark/Golisopod (Won)
Round 4: Zoroark/Golisopod (Lost)
Round 5: Zoroark/Lycanroc (Won)
Round 6: Buzzwole/Lycanroc (Intentional Draw)

Zoroark GX was everywhere, which was one of the reasons why I chose to play Buzzwole/Lycanroc.

My only loss was due to starting with an opening hand of Regirock EX, a Remoraid, two Float Stone, a Max Elixir, and some energy. I proceeded to top deck nothing but energy for three consecutive turns and my opponent's Golisopod ran through my Regirock and Remoraid.

I finished 4th, got some prizes, and received an Invitational Invite!

Great deck choice, glad to here that you did well! Your list looks solid, nothing I would change at the moment. What are your thoughts regarding ULP cards being included in this deck? Anything that you would change (or prepare for with other decks releasing)?

Thank you! I think the only card from ULP that is worth looking at for this deck is Cynthia, and even then I don't know if it's necessary because this deck is meant to be very aggressive so most times you'd rather use Sycamore, and I really like the disruption that N provides, especially late-game. I do plan on removing a Sycamore and N though to try out two Cynthia!

Well good luck, let us know if you have any more ideas or are successful in future tournaments! Buzzwole GX is currently set up to take down a lot of decks and I see you have figured out how to take advantage of it. Any thoughts on how to handle decks like Metal Box, Leafeon GX variants, Garchomp/Lucario, and any other decks soon to be released?

Will do! I'm going to a League Cup this Sunday so I'm hoping to play as well as I did yesterday. :D

As far as Buzzwole/Lycanroc handling upcoming Ultra Prism decks, I'll have to do some testing, but I think Leafeon GX might give it some trouble depending on what it gets paired with, because it hits a lot of the Pokémon in my deck for weakness. I was able to win against a couple Golisopod decks yesterday though so maybe it won't be too bad. I think Garchomp/Lucario could give it some trouble too because that deck will use one-prize attackers and BuzzRoc likes getting big OHKOs on GXs. Buzzwole might set up faster though. I intend to try out a couple Ultra Prism decks myself though!

Quick thing, when you say Mew EX, do you mean the one that could copy any attack?

Yup!

Cool, I wish you luck in your League Cup (by the way, are you attempting to make Worlds?)! On the topic of new cards (besides Cynthia), maybe you could try throwing in a single copy of Dawn-Wings Necrozma GX so you can switch with your active, Max Elixir onto a bench, and switch back. I've played some games against this deck and something I've noticed (at least in my tests) is that you sometimes start with Regirock EX, Remoraid, or any other unpleasant active so Dawn-Wings Necrozma GX could fix that. Maybe something that could be thought about. Once again, good luck and let me know what you think, thanks!
