NAME: James Hart
DECK: Hartlock (Exeggutor/Ursaring/Slowking)
LOCATION: Roswell, GA
DIVISION: Masters
PARTICIPANTS: 80 something
I decide to use a deck I have been playing around with since right after Nats. It is Exeggutor Lock, except I changed my Garchomp to a Ursaring after reading about its success at a city in Canada. I was not taking this tournament seriously, because I had used Luxchomp since States last year and I was tired of it. I threw the deck together the night before, and barely play tested it. I knew that since like half my deck was trainers, I was going to take losses to Vilegar all day.
Game 1 VS Amphy: I donked an unown q by searching for Unown Q and Uxie with Collector so I can retreat Exeggcute and Psychic Restore.
Game 2 VS Gyarados: He opened with Sableye, meaning I could go second. I set-up a 1 card psychic strategy and knocked-out his Sableye with Ursaring turn 2.
Game 3 VS Vilegar(Zero): He starts with 2 Unown Q. He has a terrible start, and I exploited it. I get the 1-2 card psychic strategy, and set-up the Ursaking lock sweep him with it. We played a fun game afterwords, and he pwned me.
Game 4 VS Dialgachomp: Worst start ever. He opens with Dialga active and Garchomp on the bench. My opening hand is Slowpoke, 2 DCE, 2 Rainbow, a Pokedex, and a Junk Arm. I went second, and I knew he could knock me out next turn, so I kept on discarding my resources with Junk Arm to keep picking up my pokedex. I eventually set up two Ursarings to start attacking, but I run out of energy because I discarded it all at the beginning.
Game 5 VS Never found out: He starts with Azelf, I go second and get the 0 card Psychic Strategy. I KO his Azelf the next turn with Ursaring for the win.
Game 6 VS Magnezone/Yanmega: I go second and get 0 card Psychic Strategy. He top decks Luxruy Ball and plays Uxie. He starts to get set-up, but I just do psychic strategy again next turn. He keeps on getting draw cards and eventually sets up two Yanmega. By then I already have enough of a prize card lead and enough of a set up to sweep with Ursarings.
Game 7 VS Regigigas: I go second and get the 0 card psychic strategy. I cut his deck right to an Uxie, and he sets up everything like a G6. I scoop when he drops Gigas X.
After the final round, I was hanging with some friends and Piplup234 came up to me and told me I made 4th seed. I asked around and found out what my opponent was playing, and it was Vilegar. I found him and told him not to worry about this round, and that he was going to win.

I play Vilegar and he starts double spiritomb every game. I win the first one because I KO'd two of his gengars and milled the last one. He murders me in game 2 and 3.
