I live in ireland, if i travel to the uk would i be able to participate in battle roads, regionals or nationals?

Battle roads and regionals, yes. Nationals, most probably not. Most countries require you to be a resident for at least 6 months to participate in their regionals. All other tournaments should be open for all.

Also, i used to live in england for 8-9 years so would that allow me to participate in nationals?
That I am not 100% certain on, but I recon the answer would be no. It matters on where you live currently, not on where you used to live.
