Hi ... are there any t/s/s that will allow me to seek out special energy cards from the discard or the deck ... thanks in advance

Energy Exchange Unit in UD will let you search out Special Energy from the deck. Conductive Quarry from SF is flippy, but lets you search out either Lightning or Metal Energy (Special and basic) from the Discard.

Interviewer's Question from UL may not let you seek, but any special energy in the top 8 cards may go into your hand as well.

Carnivine UL has an attack that costs 1 colorless energy. It searches your deck for an energy (any type) and puts it into your hand.
