Triumphant Box worth it?

I've never bought a box before, but I've been saving my money, and I noticed I have enough to buy a box of Triumphant. Is it worth it for the price?
 
If your gonna get a box get HGSS base or Undaunted. They have the best cards in my opinion.
 
if you are going to buy a triunmphant box doit sonn as when the set gets releaed its gonna rise in price because of all the hyped cards in the set.If I were you either buy hgss base set or triumphant, both have a number of decent cards in
 
Go for it buddy! I preordered mine last week and I'm happy I did so. Lots of great cards and cool Primes.
 
I would go for HGSS base set but if you plan on running any of the new cards into a deck then go ahead
 
HGSS if you need cool looking energy, DCE, or great Trainers/Supporters. Or Donphan or Jumpluff. Triumphant if you think you see a good deck to construct with the cards in that set.

all the primes, legends, trainers, supporters, stadium, energy are usefull in TR.
plus it has some good rares and holos.

hgss has good stuff too. but not as much as TR
 
Eh I wouldn't think so I canceled my PreOrder after my PR because I got all the supporters and energy from a couple trades and am not the slightest bit interested in anything but maybe Mew Prime. I'm just going to wait until B&W honestly. Granted I have two decks built (Luxchomp and Vilegar) already so I may be biased.
 
Do it. The primes in this set provide a lot of possibilities, and even if they don't go as far as we think they might, they're still all good trade/sell bait.
 
I wouldn't recommend getting a box of triumphant, at least right now. There are a few things that may be good, and a few good trainers, but not the kind of set you want to buy a box for. Purchase singles from this set, rather than getting the box.
 
Yeah, for the seasoned player or the roguish meta-breaker player, Triumphant would be good. But for a new player, HGSS has most of the staples you need for a deck skeleton.
 
Yeah I agree, for the experienced player getting a box of HS Triumphant is worth it. Much better than Undaunted where there wasn't very many playable cards. Unleashed wasn't bad but HGSS Base Set was better...
 
I know that I'm getting a box (once I've finished paying it off 1st from a friend).
The boxes I brought before:
Gym 1 (well, in single packs)
Hidden Legends (from a friend)
Raging Battle~YGO (B'day gift)
Hidden Arsenal 2~YGO (B'day gift-2010, same friend)
Great Encounters (went halves with PikaFlash
 
Triumphant is a major mistake. NEVER get a box of that. The set it lacking in good cards. I just bought all the cards I could ever want from Triumphant for under $20. There are a huge amount of better options than Triumphant. It does not live up to the name or the overwhelming hype of the set.

If you are a serious player, then buy either Platinum or Supreme Victors. If you are a collector, go for Dragon Frontiers or any of the HS sets except for Triumphant.

Personally, a good first box would be something like Neo Destiny, Gym Challenge, Legendary Collection, or Crystal Guardians.
 
Why SV? It comes with a TON of useless cards, such a waste of money. I wouldn't even suggest picking up packs of it, unless discounted. Platinum and HGSS are the best sets to get boxes of ATM.

Gengar was overpriced and sold out. Bought only 1 of each. Not gonna need many copies anyway I only play through Redshark, not build real decks.
