Hey everyone so I've been out of the TCG scene for about 2 years and I just decided to start playing casually again. As I was looking at newer sets, I saw Aqua Patch. That made me think-hey maybe I could play a turbo water deck with that. Unfortunately, I don't know of any good water cards in Standard. Anyone have any list ideas? Also, what draw engines to people run these days? Thanks in advance.

Tapu Fini-GX is good in Standard and you couldn’t ask for a better partner for Aqua Patch. If you run that with Lapras-GX and Manaphy-EX you have a good deck. Consider Expanded if you want the most options though.
Ninetales is the only meta deck that utilises aqua patch. Currently it is run with Zoroark-GX, Espeon-EX Tapu Koko and Tapu Lel-GX usually.
Draw engines are usually 4 Professor Sycamore 4 N and sometimes a Lillie. You would also need some Guzma for the gust effect and Brigette to search out basics.
You can use Tapu Lele GX to search for supporters with its ability, and draw cards with Zoroark GX’s ability.
Item wise, Ultra Ball is still staple. Rescue Stretcher and Super Rod are common inclusions for recovery. Field Blower is normally played as a one of or more to counter enemy tools and Stadiums. Some decks with higher retreat costs will play Float Stone to retreat, and Choice Band is popular for increasing damage output to EX and GX Pokémon.

Lillie you say? Well that helps a lot. I have a full art sitting somewhere just because I liked how it looked. Good to know that I can use it.
Thank you for the recommendations. I'll definitely make sure I test them thoroughly.
Do you think that a 4/4 line is necessary? I know there would be a potential consistency issue but most mega decks I've played run 4/3, and that's if they like starting with the base EX.
I see, maybe change that to a 3/3?
That would be a good idea and would leave room for tech cards and things to help consistency.
