I had looked at this strategy at first and understood it but now that I look at it again I am confused...Tentacruel's first attack states, "...for each energy card attached in this way do 20 damage." So I'm not understanding how Lanturn helps out if he can move an energy. So what I'm asking is let's say an opponent's benched pokemon has an energy attached to it already, and Tentacruel uses tentacle strike...is it 40 damage to that benched pokemon or 60 damage?

Either way Tentacruels attack says IN THIS WAY which means that if you attach 2 energies to a pokemon with and energy already attached then the attack would do 40 damage since you attached 2 energies IN THAT WAY.
