I heard that TV Reporter reverse holofoil is the most expensive card in Pokemon TCG? is that true?? please answer my question... Thx

Yes it is the rarest and most expensive card in the Pokemon TCG. The reason is that it was a misprint from what I heard. So what if it's a misprint, most people would say. Well they are EXTREMELY rare. It's like finding a shiny in the GBA games but much harder. They are sold often and you can find them on ebay usually. They are worth about $100+.

what??misprint??
which part??
100$ each? waww...so expensive...
1 card = 1 box?!
wait...is it the card that WPM has, but already broken up?

Ok, I had someone confirm that it Isnt a misprint but it is extremely hard to find. Yes it is extremely expensive too. It's the same one that WPM screwed up yes. A mint condition one should look like this: http://i8.ebayimg.com/02/i/04/47/e6/9f_1_b.JPG

The reason its so expensive is that there was a problem on the print run that no staff had noticed. This lead to the card not being like any other RH. There was no misprint, just a problem on print run. Its like 1 in every 10-15 cases. I had sold on ebay for about £100-£200 ($178-$356)

I would like to get my hands on four TV Reporters but I know its so damn hard to find unless you live in Britian.

No. It is not the most expensive in the TCG.

The Pikachu Illustrator Card is believed to be the most expensive card in the Pokemon TCG. (Priced from $5,000 to $8,000. Sold on the net, believe it or not, for about £9,000 or so)

The story behind the infamous RH TVR:

When EX: Dragons was released, for some reason or another none of the TVRs were Reverse Holo in America.  However, boxes released in Europe DID have RH TVRs in their normal ratio.  People in America wanted them so much that their prices jumped straight up to about $100.

That's the story.

As for the most valuable card, Jeremy Marons' No. 1 trainer card sold for $7,656.99.

oh, so there is nothing wrong with the card, it's just rare, isn't it?
I get it now, yeah, no wonder it's expensive, people want it very much...

wheeew... my friend lost that card:( SOB
But why in Indonesia TV reporter reverse holo is not famous??:D
it's a mystery.....

lol... I think it's not a mystery (um? somebody call my name?? ^^), they just didn't know about it :)
see, I know this info when I read here ^^

Sorry to revive this thread, but from the gym I saw that it is because it was missing from its first print run.

Maybe, it is possible. They are quite rare since there isnt a large amount of them so that may be the case, not sure though.
