Question 1:

Electrivire LvX Pulse Barrier Attack refers to its effect coming into force if one discards "all opponent's tool cards and stadium cards in play". Does the word "opponent's" refer to both tool cards and stadiums or is the fact that it does not read "all opponent's tool and stadium cards" deliberate. Hence the wording could be "all opponent's Tool cards and all Stadium cards".

Bottom line question. If I have a stadium in play and attack with Pulse Barrier is it discarded and the effect come into force.

Question 2:

Garchomp Rainbow Scales. If the defending Pokemon is weak to colourless is there anyway to get both the 40 extra damage plus the weakness effect, given that special energies attached negate this Body.

Thx for your input.

No and No.

Electivire means just that - your OPPONENTS tools and stadiums. And keep in mind, that effect happens AFTER the damage is applied.

Also, to awnser your second question, Garchomp cannot do an extra 40 damage to colourless weak pokemon because there is no colourless energy anymore. The only colourless energy was Double Colourless Energy from the Base Set many years ago. The only extra damage you would do would be weakness damage.
