1. If the attack discards a [W] energy and the opponent has a multi-energy attached, this multi could be discarded as it provides one of every energy. Correct?

2. However, if the opponent has DRE / Casty / Scramble / etc. attached it can't be discarded because it counts as 2 energies?

3. As a follow-up, I would read the card to indicate that its Typhlosion's owner who choses which energy is discarded (if say both a multi and water were on the same opponent's Pokemon). Is this correct?

Thx

1) Oh this card needs a bit more clarity...To be honest I am not too sure about this awnser, but I am 60% sure that it discards anything that supplies water energy.

2) Yes. They *CAN* be discarded. They count as 2 energies but it is a single energy card :)

3) You choose which energy gets discarded. You can only choose 1 though. So just because they have a multi *AND* a water on it doesnt mean you can discard both.

1) - Krucifier is in the right way. You can indeed discard any energy attached to the defending Pokemon, as long as it supplies any kind of energy. Which is exactly what Multi-Energy does. The same goes for question Nr. 2. They provide Water energy. Since they're 2 in 1, your opponent has bad luck if you discard that one. It says A water energy. If that Water energy is provided by a double or even triple energy card, that can be discarded.
Question 3 also needs no clarification.

Ok. Although as Multi Energy states - if there is another special energy card attached to that pokemon, Multi Energy counts as a colourless. So unfortunatly you would not be able to discard Multi *IF* They had another special energy attached.
