RE: M.T.U.Z

-1x Cleffa
+1x Pokemon Collector

If you're anticipating Catcher, you should know not to pack that many Cleffas over Pokemon Collector. You need the first turn Collector to get field presence. Cleffas are great, but as I see it already you're starting off with way too many low HP nonevolving pokes.

RE: M.T.U.Z

lol any good list has 4 collector. I don't know where you got this brilliant idea about 4 starters, but it's wrong. 4 collector is mandatory.
Your supporters are all over the place. You want 4 PONT, 4 collector, 2-3 Juniper, and then whatever else you want. 3 collector is getting you nowhere.
Also, if you're going to run catcher, which i highly suggest, run 4. 2 doesn't work.
4 poke comm is too much. 3 is enough.
Twins is pointless in this deck. Twins should only run in a deck that will be behind. ex. MewGar because it never takes prizes, or VileGar in the old format, because you're always planning on starting with Spiritomb and him eventually dying.

RE: M.T.U.Z

Explain how some of this works. Like why 4 Collectors is needed and not 3? How is 4 Communication to much?

Twins has good use in this deck and in any deck at all! Heres an Example:
I use Cleffa to stall and it works. I send out Tyranitar and Darkness Howl 2 time and KO Cleffa. I can use Twins to get cards that I need when I KO Cleffa. Or I can just use Twins when one of my main Pokemon are KO'd (Zoroark, Mandibuzz, or Tyranitar). It's sorta the same thing when you talked about Spiritomb dying.

Here is what I do agree with (anything else is what I don't agree with):

1. Although I don't agree that 4 Collectors is the law (thats the meaning of Mandatory), I'll consider 4 Collector.

2. 4 PONT can be good, this deck is suppose to have a good hand refresher.

3. Ya, it's crazy to think 4 is essential in every deck.

4. 4 Catcher is good, just didn't have room.

I think you mean any bad list has 4 collector, collector is for beggining set up and is a dead card late in game, I think he should actually bump it down to 2 but leaving it as 3 is fine. 4 catcher isnt good either itll just lower consistency for other cards. Obviously you havent had experience using a tyranitar deck before because twins is one of the most essential cards in the deck 2 of them is good because ttar is real slow to set up half the time.
@ rayquaza2222
I say just take out umbreon line coz is really easy to pass and unknown dark will just clutter bench space then put in 3 of what ever else you want but I say to get rid of cleffas and tyrogue because imo they arent that good with the flips, I used them before and they never worked out for me. so -3 cleffa -1 tyrogue for 4 absol prime starters its pokebody is perfect for beginning game and helps set up mandibuzz for snipes. It also does 70 for 2 or with spec dark(s) 80-90 for 2 energy which is very good and it doesnt realy matter if you gotta lost zone a pokemon because you never always use every single pokemon in your deck, and it might suprise your opponent your using that attack it did when I was battling my friend joe, because he thot i was just gonna retreat it next turn but I didnt and killed his skiploom, lololollo anyway you dont even got to attack with absol he just stalls till he dies and you can twins after damaging the basics they lay down, then sweep with mandibuzz

RE: M.T.U.Z (Mandibuzz, Tyranitar, Umbreon, Zoroark)

^I dunno, Cleffa and Tyrogue have always worked for me. They both work pretty well right? I prefer Cleffa and Tyrogue due to it's stalling ability (I know it's a coin flip thing, oddly I only had bad luck at Nats :/), Energy free attacks, Cleffa's hand restarter, and Tyrogue can KO an awake Cleffa or Tyrogue. But, no harm to try. I'll try to buy some or go to a league and trade em. BTW, how does a league work? And how much is Absol Prime? Thanks

BTW thanks for backing me up on the Collector and Twins stuff.

RE: M.T.U.Z (Mandibuzz, Tyranitar, Umbreon, Zoroark)

At Troll and Toad, a great online site for buying pokemon cards, absol prime is 6.50. I don't know if you can find it cheaper or not.

RE: M.T.U.Z (Mandibuzz, Tyranitar, Umbreon, Zoroark)

The absol primes at my card shop cost me around $6, and you should try finding leagues in your area through the search engine for local leagues at pokemon.com. Its pretty much just find one on the internet and go to where ever it is and they are really fun Ive only been to one but I plan on going alot more after the summer, I started playing before states last year. Alot of leagues that Ive heard of have more masters than juniors or seniors but its usually mostly masters and senors, well in my area. Its really fun because all the people that play pokemon are nice and you can make a few friends there.

Oh yea and in my previous post I said to take out whole umbreon line and unknown and If you like disruption, I know I do!, you can slip in another judge righ quick and put in 2 lost removers, is like 1 of the most underrated cards in the game, It forces you opponent to discard that double colorless and who knows it could be there last one so they would need to take 2 more turns to set that attack back up, and those yanmegas and jumpluffs rescue energies get gone so no recovery for them or any other poke with it.

RE: M.T.U.Z (Mandibuzz, Tyranitar, Umbreon, Zoroark)

Food for thought if you don't want to buy an absol you could use troll and toad ad a price guide to make fair trades. You have a card worth 14 dollars ask for 2 absol

No, you'd ask for 14 dollars and buy 2 absol prime, and have a buck left.

I found a league I just want to know how it works. Is there a cost? How do I sign up? And other things I might need to know.

Lost Remover is so underrated because it has little use. Then again, I have seen a lot of Rescues at Nats so I might run 1 (just 1)

RE: M.T.U.Z (Mandibuzz, Tyranitar, Umbreon, Zoroark)

do keep in mind how common zoroark, bouffalant, and samurott are getting as techs, and therefore how many people will use DCE.

there definitley is no cost if there was you should report them or something, pokemon leagues are free, Im pretty sure the only thing about pokemon that cost something are the cards and the prereleases. And my best friend goes to 2 different ones and he just walks in no sign up or anything, when I went to one with him we didnt have to sign up either, we just walked in and started trading and battling. Umm I dont know what else you need to know but just go to one to see how fun it is!

and lost remover you dont have to have it just an option so you dont need it, and if your still like 50/50 about the starter absols just proxy them and play against someone to see how it goes so you dont have to buy em all, because at first when I tried them I thot they sucked but then later on I started to see their potential, but thaats just me.

RE: M.T.U.Z (Mandibuzz, Tyranitar, Umbreon, Zoroark)

I'm thinking of adding in Serperior. Been wanting to, what to take out?

Serperior and Jarachi.
It made top 8 at Nats. I like the idea.

I did some new edits. I took out Mandibuzz and 2 cleffa and added in Jirachi and Serperior.

I'll test this at my next league time (my first league I attend :D )
