Tyranitar LV.61 – Darkness – HP140
Stage 2 – Evolves from Pupitar

Poke-Body: Dark Fighting Spirit
Whenever one of your opponent’s Pokemon uses a Poke-Power, after the effect resolves, search your discard pile for 1 Basic Darkness Energy card and attach it to this Pokemon.

[C][C] Grind: Does 20 damage x the number of Energy attached to Tyranitar.
[D][D][D][D][D] Spinning Tail: Does 30 damage to each of your opponent’s Pokemon.

Weakness: Fighting (+30)
Resistance: Psychic (-20)
Retreat: 4
Yes , but only to the active pokemon.
Please note: it has to be a special dark for it to get the +10 damage.

I have a question too. The Tyranitar´s Spinning Tail will inflict more damage, if the benched pokémon have weakness to Tyranitar´s type??

Well you can't exactly tell since it hasn't been released in English yet. But so far, yes you would include weakness and resistance on benched Pokemon. As for Spec. Dark Energies, it says it on the card it only adds +10 damage to the active Pokemon.

I highly doubt that it will apply weakness and resistance to the bench. Take the spoiler for Yanmega from LA:

Yanmega LV.47 – Grass – HP90
Stage 1 – Evolves from Yanma

[.] Shockwave: 10 damage. This attack also does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. Switch the Defending Pokemon with one of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. Your opponent chooses the Benched Pokemon to switch.
[G][G][C][C] Chase Turn: 60 damage. If the Defending Pokemon already has at least 2 damage counters on it when you attack, this attack does an additional 20 damage, and switch Yanmega with one of your Benched Pokemon.

Weakness: Lightning (+20)
Resistance: Fighting (-20)
Retreat: 0

It does not say anything about the bench damage not being affected by weakness and resistance, yet in the english card, it says that it isn't affected by weakness and resistance.

And, if you have special darks attached (with some basic and Darkrai X in play optionally) the damage boost would ONLY apply to the active Pokemon, not to the bench in any way.

Kronar, you made a little mistake:
Yanmega LV.47 – Grass – HP90
Stage 1 – Evolves from Yanma

[.] Sonic Wave: 10 damage. Does 10 damage to each of your opponent´s Benched Pokémon. (Don´t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Your opponent switches the Defending Pokémon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon.
[G][G][C][C] Pursue and Turn: 60 + damage. If the Defending Pokemon already has 2 damage or more damage counters on it, this attack does 60 damage plus 20 damage and switch Yanmega with one of your Benched Pokemon.

That´s the correct Yanmega.

I think the Tyranitar will be changed, when DP Stormfront will be released out. Let´s wait, yeah!!

People. Benched damage NEVER includes weakness. This was a problem back with marowak d, but it was ruled that the don't apply weakness...etc. is assumed. So unless t-tar says otherwise, it won't include weakness/resistance.

I really didn't mess up if you would actually read my ENTIRE POST. In the quote, look at whats in bold in my post. I posted the SPOILER, not the text from the card. The spoiler didnt mention anything about weakness and resistance, the actual card does. Read an entire post before criticizing someone.

I agree with Papi, if you have played the game for long enough you should have enough knowledge of the game to know that bench damage is NEVER affected by weakness/resistance. If you think that just because the NON-OFFICIAL spoiler doesnt specify the fact that it is or isnt affected by weakness/resistance that it will apply it for bench damage, then you need to learn more about the game. If you aren't certain of something, do a little research on it first, then post. I had to look up something else that did bench damage that has been released in english to use as a counter point for bench damage being affected by weakness/resistance. Even though I KNEW that there hasn't been a Pokemon that applies weakness/resistance to benched Pokemon I wanted to find one to show everyone that I wasn't just pulling facts out of nowhere.

Sorry if I was rude to you Kronar. I only posted the text for the card to check it, but It´s ok. About the Tyranitar, I don´t know what will come up to TCG now. One example can be the the Mamoswine of IFDS, and Giratina of the same collection who puts card in recent created Lost Zone. I´m here to do my research and discuss pokémon, but not for show who know more.

Thanks so much people!! You helped me a lot!
