I'm new to the Pokemon TCG, all I know is I want to use Tyranitar and I like Zoroark so I decided to put them together. I'm not sure when it comes to figuring which pokemon work well together or which trainers to have, but here is what I've come up with. Feel free to pick it apart!

Pokemon: 18
2x Tyranitar prime
2x Pupitar UL 38
3x Larvitar UL 50
2x Cinccino BW 89
2x Minccino EP 84
2x Tornadus
2x Zoroark (the one that has foul play)
3x Zorua EP 66

Energy: 15
7x Basic Darkness
4x Special Darkness
1x Rescue Energy
3x Double Colorless

Supporters: 13
1x Prof. Oak's New Theory
4x Professor Juniper
2x Interviewer's Questions
1x Fisherman
1x Pokemon Collector
1x Twins
1x Bianca
1x Black Belt
1x Flower Shop Lady

Items: 14
4x Pokemon Communication
3x Energy Retrieval
2x Pokemon Catcher
2x Rare Candy
1x Energy Search
1x Great Ball
1x Junk Arm

This is very good start for someone who is new to the Pokemon TCG. Zoroark and Tyranitar Prime have no actually synergy together except both being {D} type, but they can both use Double Colorless Energy (DCE) and Zoroark is just a very nice card to counter alot of pokemon. I See you've also picked Tornadus as another tech which is a smart move as Donphan Prime just wrecks Tyranitar Prime. Trainer line can do with a little tweaking, but first here's a little skeleton pokemon list

3-2-3 Tyraniter Prime
2-2 Zoroark BW
2 Tornadus
1 Shaymin UL
1 Cleffa

Ideally you want to be playing the same amount of Stage 2 as you have Basic as you'd want your Basics to all reach the stage 2 form, HOWEVER most people would max out the amount of Basic Pokemon (in this case, 4 Lavitar) as Pokemon Catcther is quite a big card right now and most cards can't afford having there main attacker/tech being knocked out before they set it up early game. I removed the Cinccino for Shaymin because you'd want to focus on T-tar in this type of deck. Why the Shaymin? Because Tyranitar is a energy hungry beast and in most situation will be 2HKIO by alot of things and along the line it just becomes a hassle to set-up another fully charged Tyranitar Prime. So the idea here is to Play Switch and switch your active damaged T-tar prime with a benched T-tar Prime and drop Shaymin and use it's Poké-Power - Celebration Wind to move all the energy from the damaged T-tar to the fresh T-tar OR to a Tornadus if the situation calls for it.

Basculin is an awesome tech for Donphan, as a Ttar player myself, he has been invaluable. Zoroark is great against Reshiphlosion as a potential counter, use him wisely.

I like what I'm seeing here, I plan on ordering some cards online soon so this is very helpful! What about energy and trainers?

Go big on hand refresh, in my deck with Tyranitar, I run 4 PONT, also use Collector, Sages Training, and Catchers.

Ok, what should I take out for those? Or are those the only ones I should bother with?

First I say, you don´t need Black Belt in this deck
because Tyranitar does so much damage, It can kill both Reshiram and Zekrom with only 1 SP Darkness energy... Zoroark does that too with SP Darkness but only If you are in trouble and you have to use Zoroark, usually u need to use Tyranitar for these two...

Do like this:
Take away:
1x Bianca (This is bad card, If you don´t have at least 3 Junk Arm)
1x Black Belt (Tyranitar deck doesn´t need this, you can put in better card over this, like PONT or Judge)
1x Energy Search (You don´t need this for anythink)
1x Zorua EP (2-2 line is enough)

Put in:
1x Tyranitar Prime (3-2-3 is better line than you have now)
2x Dual Ball or Pokemon Collector (I use both of them, because If I need to draw cards because I have bad hand, then I use Dual Ball, simply)
1x PONT/Cheren (Give you more draw power If you don´t wanna discard your hand, Cheren is good If you have good hand and you don´t shuffle your hand into your deck)

I hope this help
You can take away 2x Interviewer Questions and put in more drawing power, If you want
You can try that, If it works

You need to add a Strategy to the decklist in the first post.

dmaster out.

Take out Energy Search, Bianca, fisherman, and 1 energy Retrieval.
Add 1 Tyranitar Prime, 2 Collectors, and 1 Junk Arm.
Possible take out all energy retrievals as well and add a thicker Cincinno line or Cleffa.
You need lots of Collectors and a more consistant T-Tar line.
Other wise, a pretty good deck idea!

To tell the truth u do need a 3-2-3 line of t-tar which everyone suggests. Other than that you probably want 4 professor oak's, 2 judges or copy cat, and try and lay back on the juniper because u dont need to be discarding t-tars and any other needed card if you are despret.... Could mess you up later in the game. Other than that basculin is a good tech for donphan, u could also run yanmega prime with it but you would need to run 2-3 copy cats and 3-4 judges.
