Tyrant Dragon

POKEMON: 21

3-2-3 Tyranitar Prime (UL-UL-Prime)
1-0-1 Nidoqueen (RR-RR)
1-1 Umbreon (UD-UD)
3-1 Uxie Lv.X (LA-LA)
1 Unown Q (MD)
1 Azelf (LA)
4 Sableye (SF)

TRAINERS/SUPPORTERS/STADIUMS: 26

4 Rare Candy
2 Warp Point
2 Expert Belt
2 Pokemon Communicator
1 Luxury Ball
1 VS Seeker

3 Bebe's Search
3 Pokémon Collector
3 Seeker
1 Prof. Oak's New Theory
1 Palmer's Contribution

2 BTS

ENERGY: 13

4 Special Dark Energy
4 Darkness Energy
4 DCE
1 Rainbow Energy

Strategy:

The ideal scenario is to smash face with the power of Darkness by harnessing the wrath of Tyranitar and have another one ready on the bench should the first one fall. Nidoqueen circumvents the damage caused to my own pokemon from Darkness Howl as well as providing healing support for Tyranitar / Umbreon to ensure their reign of terror is not short lived. She and Uxie Lv.X serve as Machamp counters. Sableye is the ideal lead but I have had some thoughts of switching to Spiritomb. Seeker is used to heal my Pokemon, reuse Uxie, possibly donk with Sableye and stuff like that.

I have tested Seeker and have found that it is generally a powerful card, so it has been increased to three. Triple Uxie gives me that powerful consistency this deck strives upon. VS Seeker is a bit random but it has proven to be decent throughout testing. I generally use it on Prof Oak. Tempted to tech a Junk Arm in here as well. All comments welcomed.

With a 1-0-1 Line, definitely run 2 BTS and 4 Candy. It may seem like a bad idea with all the Trainer lock in the format, but you need Nidoqueen out as quickly and consistently as possible. I would also take out the lone Cyrus for another PONT. Tyranitar was inconsistent when Claydol was still with us, so you really do need to max consistency. Good list, though.

I don't mind trying out 2 BTS and four Candy as my Vilegar matchup is solid stuff anyway. The lone cyrus I threw in over a Dark Energy, so if I was to take it out, another Dark Energy would need to take it's place again somewhere as I refuse to run any less than 14 energies without any method of searching them out. If anything, I wouldn't mind ditching those Seeker's for more consistent draw power.

I'd like to see a 1-1-1 line of nidoqueen in here. If you are in a trainerlock, you won't be able to get your nidoqueen out, and may end up killing your own Pokemon. The list is so tight though I have no clue what to drop from it...maybe if you find extra space, throw it in there, but besides that, very solid list.

I am not afraid of the vilegar matchup except for Fainting Spell. That is their only hope of defeating me. I haven't played any vilepluff decks either, so I dunno if the Nidorina is really necessary. I will give it some thought though.

I think mabye you shoud do this.

- 1 Rare Candy
- 1 Darkness energy
- 1 Uxie
- 1 DCE

+ 1 Nidorino RR
+ 3 BTS

BTW, Thats what i think. ;)

May I suggest using the Larvitar and Pupitar from SF? One good thing about them is that they have a grass weakness, and not a lot of people play Grass compared to people who play Water. Energy Protection is also great, and though Larvitar UL has 10 more HP, the different weakness makes up for it.

Pretty good list in my opinion and i love that you added pics lol

All i suggest is take an uxie our for a judge or pont or warp point or nidorina.

good job.

I prefer the free retreat on Pupitar to be honest. It has come in handy once in a while. I would rather 60HP in all honesty, just to make it a bit tougher for it to get donked or whatever.

Triple Uxie while I questioned ridiculously when my bro suggested it to me, has actually been putting in work for the most part. I just need to manage my bench a bit more carefully, but otherwise those three uxies have proved their worth.

Change the Larvitar to Larvitar #50, since if your at a stall, and have no fighting energys avalable or the rainbow, your kinda screwed. The other larvitar only needs colorless, so he's a better choice
