I originally posted as below, but what I've found is that Call Energy, Rare Candy and Roseanne's Research are around four dollars or so each. Four of each is about 30 - 35 pounds (about 45 - 50 dollars), which is lot for just part of a deck, and for someone just starting the game. I've already spent about 100 pounds (75 9-pocket plastic holders, card sleeves, theme deck, boosters, SV pre-release event and some single cards) so it's all mounting up. We now have a couple of 'fun' decks, fine to learn with, but not even hopefully competitive.
It seems I might as well buy a couple of theme decks for Roseanne's, rather than single cards ... but if anyone has any other ideas, especially regarding Rare Candy, let me know. Thanks.
My son (aged 8) has recently started playing the TCG.
I'm trying to help him with internet info and the occasional purchase.
The local pokemon club is small, and we're struggling to find the cards it seems he needs.
Also, he doesn't have many of the newer cards, hence nothing notable to trade yet.
So, I would be interested in buying the following cards.
If you would like to sell, let me know the price, postage etc.
I can pay by PayPal, but we can discuss another method if you prefer.
I don't mind where you live, although postage costs are likely to be a factor of course.
If you don't have the quantity I mention, just quote for what you do have.
We're interested in cards in good playable condition - they don't have to be mint or holo (though always nice as a bonus), so you can give me an honest view of what the condition is like.
We're still very much on a learning curve with the TCG, but at the moment we are interested in:
Call Energy MD (x4)
Rare Candy GE (x3)
