Pokemon UK Players

Hey there Pokemon community, trying to find any other players in the UK, I live in Liverpool but don't know anyone else here who plays (only Yu-Gi-Oh players but I don't play that too much any more).

I travel 2 hours every Saturday to Manchester to play in their league but wouldn't mind playing just casual too if there's anyone else here who plays, I also wouldn't mind traveling to other cities to compete in their leagues sometimes so anyone in the UK who plays let me know.

I am trying to get into competitve play but haven't really started yet.
 
Have you tried the Pokemon.com Event Locator? The preferences on the locator are pretty detailed.
By the way, nice to see a fellow Brit! ;)
 
I've used the locator and got a list of places with leagues, just trying to meet a few people from any of them before I go there and find out what their leagues are like.

I'd definitely like to help other players get into competitive play, send me a PM if you like and we'll have a chat about the game and starting to play.
 
I live in the UK as well but there isn't any touneys near my place so I decided to stop playing... >.>
 
Hi I'm from the UK my kids have got into playing tcg at a local legue to me in aldershot it started with my 8yr old going because she was drivining me nuts every day wanting to play. Once my 14yr old found out it wasn't all young kids she wanted to go and where I would get bored I started playing (I'm 32) my youngest daughter has also got a friend who lives over the road going aswell now. It's cost me a absolute fortune in the past month as I'm making 3 decks at once reshiboar for my youngest Donchamp for my eldest and mewgar for me and also contributing cards to my daughters friend deck. I do realy enjoy the fact that I can do something with my kids and such a huge age range can work so well together.
