Guiding questions:
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
5. How's the artwork?

Posts MUST be several sentences long with proper grammar and spelling or they will be deleted - this forum is to discuss specific cards so other people can learn about their potential in the current metagame.

1) On it's own, it's not good. It's more of a tech. A very GOOD tech. I feel it's worth being played.

2) I honestly don't know, but anyting that runs dark (E.G. Sablelock) should run a 1-1 line of this card.

3) Combos? None. Just a very nice tech.

4) I give it a 4/5. The ability to wall most Metagame decks, is just awesome. How'd you like to be immune to most of the format, for one energy, on a stage one, doing 30+ damage at the same time? Yeah.

5) I'm not a HUGE fan, but it's ok. I give the art 2.5/5

1.Its a decent card on its own and it could be played in a stall deck (maybe).

2.None right now that I know of.

3.It could be used to combo with Nidoqueen RR to give you more time to heal heavy hitters.

4.I give it a 3.5/5 because I can see it being used as a wall, a very annoying wall but other than that it doesn't have many uses.

5.I give it a 3/5 for artwork but i would imagine that it looks better as a non-holofoil.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
It's a good card. The ability too wall anything with Poke-Bodies/Powers (90% of the metagame)? Yay.
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
None that I know of.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
It's worth teching into a deck
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
3.5/5. Excellent walling ability and low Retreat and Attack costs boost it, but the low output damage and HP are issues. Warp Point/Bright Look also destroy walling.
5. How's the artwork?
3/5. Decent, but nothing special. I like how its on a roof. Dunno why, though.

On a side note, this card is kinda like Shedinja SV.

1. The card on its own isn't that great. It has potential, but standalone has obvious weaknesses. It is only worth being played if one can use it in the right way. It's second attack is to be honest just plain bad, though it is useful in a prerelease as a cheap way to do up to 60 damage with a stage 1, especially with the amount of support for dark types in that set.
2. I haven't seen it used at all in the metagame...yet.
3. It could be used in many different combos, including as a small tech in many more mainstream decks. I see the most potential in Machamp LA, however, as it seems to cover all of Umbreon's Weaknesses and their energy requirements and trainer synchronizations work well together.
4. 4/5. This card has definite potential, usable in most decks, as well as in duo combos with other cards, but is not very useful by itself.
5. I love this artwork. Being one of the better art styles used on the cards, the round cartoon-style is actually nice to look at. In addition, this is one of the few cards I've seen actually have the holographics work with the artwork, instead of on top of, or against it.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
This card does not stand on its own as there are many counters to it (i.e. warp point, bright look) but has the potential to wall nearly any current metagame deck's main attacker. against an sp deck, i suppose it would be easy for the other person to simply not level up and in the case of luxchomp, be ko'd in 2 maybe 3 turns without doing enough damage to take the ko for itself. it would be quite evil to force the other person to not level up so they can do damage, but retreat for something else that can easily ko an sp. just a thought. having said all this yes it is worth being played but as a stall or lock on the opponent to get a main attacker set up or healed
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
none as of yet, but im sure there will be someone to drop it into their deck so they can stall
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
along with stalling in the way stated above, i could be used with vileplume UD to have the trainer lock on them (and yourself, run lots of supporters) to eliminate the threat of warp point, leaving them with bright look (assuming they run luxray) or something else that i'm probably over looking right now. if there is no way for them to attack with their main or something else, then they cant touch you (in the case of donphan, yes phanpy can attack ;D)
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
hmm i would give it a 3.5 out of five stars because yes it can wall things and sorta confuse your opponent, but it is easily worked around (i know from experiance) and once worked around easily ko'd due to a lower hp
5. How's the artwork?
5/5 yes it is my bias towards umbreon and espeon, but i do like the cartoonish style, so cuddley looking :D

1. Well this card can be real hard to knock out in a rare case your oppoent may not be able to knock this card out.

2. I really dont know what metta game i think mostley likely this meta game.

3. Well this is good with deffender to reduce damage from pokemon that dont have poke powers or pokebody's.

4. I give this a four out of five it hase low hp and its second attack is bad but its first attack is so good.

5. The art work is real nice on this one i like the back ground.

Umbreon from undaunted

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
This card is fantastic i played it on my league this week and it did do fantastic i went 8-2 with him and that really was great my only losses was against two sp decks that sniped and brigth looked my benched pokémon.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
Umberlock

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Sableye and Spiritomb to set up and Flareon to beat Scizor prime. Vileplume?

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5 it is great the only problem would be that Donphan and Machamp (with a crobat) will OHKO you then SP will take out your benched pokémon and with reversals being a card that gets played now they can do it too.

5. How's the artwork?
4/5 like the card its great but not perfect.

1. How does this card stand on its own?

Umbreon goes into any dark deck to shut down effect-reliant decks (SP does not like Umbreon). I wouldn't use it as a stand-alone in any deck, but it does tech into a great many decks.

2. What metagame decks use this card?

Eevee Toolbox, DarkLock, and many other partial dark decks fold Umbreon in to stall with Moonlight Fang.

3. What combos exist with this card?

If you can control your opponent's active (such as Warp Point, LGX, etc.) Umbreon can be a real harasser to any of your opponent's Pokemon that haven't yet set up. Also, Espeon PRIME can copy Moonlight Fang in an Eevee Toolbox.

4. Please rate this card.

4 out of 5. If Moonlight Fang did a LOT of damage, this card could rise higher.

5. Do you like the artwork?

Pretty plain really :(. A passing grade, 5 out of 10.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
This card is GREAT. I recently ran it last weekend and it locked almost every deck I ran into. It's great for support in any deck that runs a few dark energies.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
No idea at the moment.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
I use it in a VileGar deck myself.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5
It can be taken out easily but it's annoying after your opponent has set up.

5. How's the artwork?
Tis' ok. A little bland but well done. 3.5/5

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
-It is definitely worth playing. The card however does not have any potential to stand alone.. Its just a very awesome tech.
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
-No big ones published yet, but I run it in VileGar and I have seen Sablelock play it and even Luxchomp.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
-There is no need for combos with this card.. However i do use it against mirror in VileGar and what I would do is hit Gengar for 60 and then drop my own Gengar with BTS in play and snipe it off so I can avoid Fainting Spell.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
-This card deserves plenty of hype.. I give it a 4.5/5 only because its a tech but as a tech it should get a 5/5 because it walls 90 % of the meta.
5. How's the artwork?
-Ehhh The only good card that has awesome artwork is Garchomp C Lv X... All the other ones like Lux X and Sabeye have dull artwork. However, I do like Uxie Lv X's art...

1. I think its deffinitally worth being played and is a great card for stopping Pokebodies/Poke Powers.
2. Anything dark, Vilegar, Sablelock
3. Use with Darkrai G, Umbreon hits for 30, 60 with heads with quickblow. Then Darkrai G comes in and puts the Defending pokemon to sleep while doing damage.
4. 5/5 good techie, great combo pool, good against metagame.
5. LOVE the artwork :D

1. Not good focus for a deck. Wow, this card makes a great tech for those lame Eevee decks. (Too bad we got Umbreon prime and not Umbreon Lv X that SSU ability would make this card amazing!).
2. I don't believe there are any metagame decks that would run this. Not unless someone running Luxchomp teched this in against Fighting.
3. Combos, that's where this card truly excels!!! I got a friend running a really fast T-tar Prime but even when out ran, my Donphans always manage to piledrive him. With Moonlight Fang and support from E-belt and a Darkness Energy he actually locked me in and managed to take down two Donphans before I used Relicanth to knock him out. So great against those fighting type weak decks.
4. 3/5 Overall, if it wasn't for the current meta this card would really suck.
5. I love the shattered glass look the started deck holo carries, but I also pulled a holo out of a booster and I gotta admit, it looks amazing! I love holo Darkness cards!!!

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
Umbreon would be okay on it's own, but it would be best used as a tech as a wall.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
As far as I know, there aren't any popular metagame decks that use it, but I will at least test it in my Umbreon Prime deck.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
It could be used as a combo with basically any other wall. For example, Vileplume. Vileplume would prevent any trainer use (like warp point, pokemon reversal, and pokemon circulator), and would even stop Luxray GL Lv.X from being picked-up and used again. The only way to stop an Umbreon/Vileplume combo would be if you retreat Umbreon, or if your opponent can play a Luxray GL Lv.X from his/her hand without the use of trainers.
I guess you could also stop it by attacking with a pokemon without poke-bodies or poke-powers or attacking a benched pokemon. However, there aren't many non-pokepower and non-pokebody pokemon that are used as main attackers, and you could stop the bench attacks with manectric (PL 11/127) and a bench sheild on manectric.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
Out of 5 stars, I would give it a 4.6. This is because it's a really good wall and could make a decent, but slow, deck (with Vileplume and Manectric), however it can be stopped easily if it's not used along with at least Vileplume.
5. How's the artwork?
The artwork is pretty good, even though the Umbreon doesn't look like it's standing on the roof. I'd give it an 4.5/5.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
On it's own, It's not so good. A low damage first attack and a completely forgettable second attack won't win the game in any way. This is meant to be a tech. Nothing more.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
With it being an easy-to-use 1-1 line, it can find itself in most any deck that's needed, but none more so than any Eeveelution deck, Umbreon Prime decks being the most suitable. Being able to wall the feared Donk-phan is also a big bonus. Now, at first glace, it looks like this will cause havoc for SP decks. DO NOT BE FOOLED! Most, if not ALL SP decks run Garchomp C Lv X, which means they won't mess with a weak hitter when they can just snipe the living snot out of your helpless friends on the bench, and even if your Umbreon DOES get too annoying for them to ignore, they won't need to bother leveling up to begin with. All of the basic forms of SP pokemon that can level up have NO powers or Poke-Bodies, meaning that Umbreon becomes a free feast ripe for the prize-taking.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
None to my knowledge.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5 This is a bit generous only due to the fact that it can make your opponent burn valuable resources in an attempt to get around it. I should probably stress that this card is NOT meant to be aggressively played the first instense you can get it out, a mistake that many people will learn about first hand. Use it wisely, or it's just a dead draw and a free prize for your opponent.

5. How's the artwork?
3/5 It's an Eeveelution, meaning that I'll always love it no matter what. It's an appealing pose, but that put aside, there's too little detail to give it any extra appeal.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
It is about medium. Poison kills it. Though it can counter just about anything in the new metagame...
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
I really dont think it is in any :/
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Maybe with Mewtwo X, so if somebody tries to attack you with a basic, you can block them from attacking with the basic lol...
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5 Definitely a card to watch for, and tech for. Especially in the battle roads lol
5. How's the artwork?
Ill give it a 3.5/10. Its alright but not the best it can be...

1. its a fast and useful tech
2. variants of vileplume and vilegar
3. vileplume, or in a lock deck
4. 3 out of 5, it's good but not great, its weakness and hp are issue's.
5. it's the best looking umbreon card I think.

1. It's a great tech. Stalls a lot of power heavy decks, and hits for decent damage on top of that. But it really doesn't go past that. It's a tech.

2. None, at the moment. Maybe a tech in some Dark deck, but that's it.

3. Stall decks benefit greatly from Umbreon, but just as a tech. There is no real "combo" that Umbreon partakes in.

4. 4/5. Definetly a tech in anything that stalls, as well as dark decks that need a tech for Donphan Prime or something. Great tech card.

5. 3/5. Not the best art I've seen, but it's neat.

Oh how I LOL at this card... :D
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
It is definitely worth being played. I run a 1-1 tech and it is so friggin hilarious! I spam it down and then attack with Moonlight Fang and more often than not my opponent is locked. Almost every popular metagame card (except Machamp and basic SPs) has a body/Power and just spamming Moonlight Fang can win the game.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
Well maybe people try to play Eeveelutions with this in but let's be honest... Eevelutions? I don't think it's got a metagame deck yet, it's just a good tech.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Sabelock for even more locking, and other various dark decks (e.g. T-Tar)

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5 I love it just for the LOLs when this guy comes out and he's doing 30 a turn and your opponent can't do almost anything. I say almost because your opponent can: Snipe your bench, Poison/Burn, Bright Look etc..

5. How's the artwork?
I really like it; makes him look like a lean, mean locking machine:p
