Hello. Following is a deck I've been playing. IMO, it's close to being "tournament-worthy," but it still seems like I'm a few card(s) away... I've not yet encountered "bad" match-ups. But, I'd appreciate your thoughts and comments regarding suggested improvements to my deck:

Pokémon (18)
4 Eevee (Energy Evolution)
1 Oranguru
1 Shaymin EX
1 Tapu Lele GX
1 Tauros GX
3 Umbreon GX
2 Zoroark
2 Zoroark BREAK
3 Zorua (Moonlight Madness)

Trainers (30)
1 Altar of rhe Moone
1 Brock's Grit
2 Choice Band
1 Delinquent
1 Enhanced Hammer
1 Field Blower
2 Float Stone
1 Hex Maniac
2 Lysandre
3 N
1 Ninja Boy
1 Parallel City
4 Professor Sycamore
4 Ultra Ball
4 VS Seeker

Energy (12)
8 Dark
4 DC

Some other somewhat random thoughts:

  1. Currently, my supplemental card-draw support engine is comprised of 1 Shaymin EX and 1 Tapu Lele GX. This combo, which I also use in other decks, seems to work well. Another combo I'm considering is 1 Oranguru and 1 Tapu Lele GX or just 2 Tapu Lele GX. Thoughts?
  2. The Tauros GX (and Ninja Boy) is just a tech which may be removed. The Bull is there as a "sneak" attack threat and/or to remove the Shaymin EX from the board. Thoughts?
  3. As you may see, no cards from the forthcoming SM3 set have yet been considered for incorporation (my focus have been on getting prepared for the upcoming League Challenge). Should any card(s) from that set be considered?
Thanks for your review and feedback.

I personally prefer a 1 Lele, 1 Oranguru engine: never really liked Shaymin and thought it has had undue attention. Definitely keep Tauros as a threat. Perhaps tech in one AOR Flareon for those Decidueye decks around? Trainers and Energy seem fine to me.

Personally i would drop the tauros for a 2nd lele and then the ninja boy for a bridgete. This should add more consistency early game and leave a lele for a mid to late game one of supporter draw. Other than that im just not a fan of brocks grit and personally would play a rescue stretcher or super rod.

I've been playing Zoro Umbreon since GR dropped with moderate success online and IRL. I've found that 2 Umbreon GX is plenty considering that I let Zoro and Zoro BREAK do most of the work. I've tested with Tauros but I feel like having the versatility of using Dark Call GX to tilt a match-up or using Zoro BREAK to copy a GX is far superior since I only stand to lose 1 prize if Zoro BREAK goes down. Tauros will most likely go down the following turn after using his GX. I run the below counts...

4 Zorua
4 Zoroark
2 Zoroark BREAK
3 Eevee
2 Umbreon GX
1 Flareon
2 Tapu Lele
1 Oranguru (have been testing 1/1 Octillery as well but haven't finalized which is better)

I've tried Shay but often times I avoid using it because it's begging to get killed. Often times I'll win matches with my opponent coming down to 2 or 3 prizes remaining so not having a Shay on board is a priority but I have been in situations where that last extra bit of draw is really desired - hence the Octillery. I've also tried the Ninja Boy play but I found that it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. 2 Kukui, 1 Brigette, and 1 Teammates are the key players in my deck.

As to your SM3 additions, I have been eyeing down Acerola a lot to get a damaged Umbreon or Lele off the board. It could also be useful to get Zoro BREAK off the board and slap back down on top of a fresh Zoro.
