Unlimited Vilegar deck idea's.

Hello all, I was thinking about making a Vilegar deck from the last format. I really like the idea of jamming my opponents hand with trainers, and thought that using the original decks main attacker, Gengar SF, to be my main attacker instead of Gengar Prime. Gengar Prime is too expensive for me. I also like Gengar SF's Poltergeist attack (does 30 damage times all trainer, supporter, and stadium cards in opponents hand) and Fainting Spell Ability to possibly come back and knock out the Pokemon that knocked Gengar out to keep up on prizes, if the coin flips go my way. The other reason is I already have enough Vileplume UD lines to make a deck like this, so the deck would be less expensive to start out with.

Here are some questions I have:
1. Should my Pokemon lines just be Gengar SF and Vileplume UD?
2. What are some tech options?
3. Most of all, what should I run for a T/S/S line? The old format Vilegar was created in had some decent cards, but I am not limited to any set, and can use cards from any set I want. What do you, the reader, suggest?
4. Tropical beach: Should I use it? I have access to two from the World Championship 2011 deck through friends, and it seemed like a good way to get supporters/trainers into my opponents hand.

I haven't gone to the drawing board yet, but here's a skeleton deck list off the top of my head:

4 Spiritomb (The one with trainer lock + searching ability for an attack)
4-4-4 Gengar SF
2-2-2 Vileplume UD

T/S/S
2 Tropical beach
3-4 Cheren - I figure these would be useful under trainer lock
4 Pokemon Collector
2-4 Pokemon Communication - Maybe for early game, but not sure if it's a good idea.
2-4 Twins - Again, not sure if they're needed. I don't know if I'd fall behind with Fainting Spell
4 Professor Oak's New Theory - Pretty helpful under trainer lock, I'd think
Other T/S/S cards

4 Rescue Energy - To rescue Gengar in case Fainting Spell fails. It's too hard to get another line set up under lock!
10 Psychic - Unsure of how much is needed

I'd appreciate any help given. Thanks.

I'm no expert on vilegar, but I do think you may be mistaken on fainting spell. Gengar is not saved even if you flip heads; he is knocked out either way. You may also want BTS to lay down a complete gengar line the next turn. Tropical beach is a good idea, it benefits you no matter what. Uxie and Azelf are good pokemon to have. Claydol can provide some strong draw power. I don't think you need that many Cheren; Sage's training may work better. Call energy might be a good addition to set up faster. Unown Q is a good addition as well. That's all I got for now. Try searching VileGar on google for more ideas.

Oops, it looks like I meant to say that with Rescue Energy I could get Gengar back and a prize card if Fainting Spell worked. My bad! You are right about Fainting Spell, though. I like your suggestion of BTS - I completely forgot about that card! I will try out Sage's even though I'm not a fan of discarding cards. It still seems like it would work out for me. I think I will add Tropical Beach in as well. If I can fit in a Claydol, I would as I originally want to, but my Pokemon are beginning to take up quite a chunk of space. Maybe I'll go with an Uxie and Azelf to help get the cards I need faster. Thanks a lot for the suggestions! They have been a big help so far.

If you are going unlimited BTS is a must.. It's so broken.. And if want to go for further older sets you can add some computer search and item finder and oak and Erika that will really speed up the deck if you didn't start with spiritomb..
