Unlimited vs. Modified

im getting back into the tcg, and i was just curious:

Do most people play unlimited or modified?
Also, are the major pokemon tcg tournaments unlimited?
 
Modified is the single format for tournaments really. Leagues allow every card so thats unmodified, unless they have lil tournaments.
