Ruling Unown G Effect Stop Shred?

Hey was just wondering if a Pyroar (Flashfire) attached with Unown G (Great Encounters) would get damaged from a Rayquaza (Dragons Exalted) using the move Shread which ignores all effects on the enemy pokemon but Unown G stops all effects of attacks excluding damage. So would Pyroar get damaged at all? Thanks

Pyroar would receive damage.

GUARD and Intimidating Mane are both effects on Pyroar, which Shred specifically ignores.

GUARD also specifically excludes damage, so it would do nothing to stop Shred from doing damage.
