How does this card work?My idiotic friend says that if its attached to a pokemon like a Infernape you wouldnt have to disgard the fire energies because you prevent the effect?i mean seriously come on...
 
unknown G~ prevents effects of attacks from you OPPONENTS pokemon but does not prevent attacks like magmortars flame blast from secrte wonders :)
 
Other than the errata, Discards are mandatory effects, you can't skip unless replaced by a Poke-Power or Body or something
