upcoming ex basic pokemon

I have a question plus i want to know what u guys think. With new ex pokemon like mewtwo kyurem reshiram etc. theyr all basics. are they counting those as basic pokemon? or ex? because theres no search cards for any ex pokemon. so will we be able to use our collectors, communications pokeballs etc? (like anybody would use normal poke ball but still its just a reference)

Judging by the translation (forgive me for not being able to cite the author of the translation, can't seem to find it on the news article), they will be counted as Basic Pokemon. => You can use Pokemon Collectors to search for them.
