BW/BW2 US Meloetta Distribution dates prediction

We are finally getting Keldeo on Monday! In 2009, Shaymin and Regigigas were on the same distribution cart. In 2010, Pikachu-Colored Pichu and Jirachi were on the same cart. In 2011, The Shiny Beasts and Celebi were on the same cart. Am I the only one who thinks Meloetta will be on the same cart as Keldeo? Discuss!

Hmm... Given Keldeo's event is near, then they don't really have a lot of time to reveal it. Also to note, on 2 of the examples you gave there was one event exclusive Pokemon and one (three in the Shiny Beasts' case) obtained in game. It could just be downloaded via Wifi later on.

I think you have a pretty good point, but I don't think we'll get it until closer to Christmas.

I think they're saving Meloetta to be realeased around Black and White 2. Notice how the Keldeo event ends the day before Black and White 2 is released. I think they'll start destributing Meloetta about a Month after Black and White 2's English release.

Possibly. Or the day that Black 2 and White 2 are released in the US. Keldeo is being distributed starting on August 27th 2012 to October 6th 2012. They're giving us over a month to get a Mythical Pokemon in-store, which has never happened before. It seems TPCi is using Keldeo to get pre-orders at GameStop. It would make sense to distribute Meloetta to get actual sales. They can distribute Meloetta in the US starting on October 7th 2012 to November. So people can get Meloetta during the first month of Black 2 and White 2's US release. Simliar to what they did with Liberty Pass for Black and White. To push for maximum sales within the first month of release.

Now that I think about it your theory does seem much more likely.TPCi has been getting smarter with when they plan events so that seems like something they would do.

Yes. This is just a theory I have. But either way, Meloetta will most likely be distributed sometime in October. Especially, since Black 2 and White 2 will be out in October, and Best Wishes! 2 should be premiering in October. Which stars Meloetta.

I think that makes sense for them to wait for Black and White 2 to release Meloetta, but my concern then is when will we get a Genesect release? Japan got Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect this year, I'd be pretty disappointed if we didn't, too.
