I'll be there, first time at Nationals! :] I have a tan Luxio cap with Mario buttons on it, so look for me if you don't know me.

So the real event starts on the 29th, right? And then the 30th would be the last day, the top cuts, correct?

Last year when I was in seniors it went like this...

Day 1: 5 rounds of swiss.
Day 2: Last 3 rounds and then top cut all the way up to like 8 or 16.
Day 3: The remaining top cut rounds.

My memory might be a little fuzzy but I'm pretty sure that's how it went.

Yes it starts on the 29th, however, I recommend you preregister since there is only so many spots they can guarantee for each division. Sunday is when the top 16 play until there is a winner.

how much PP do you need to enter?

I'll probably be wearing my Regionals metal + my black Play! Pokemon hat, and black jeans.

jeans.
10 Play! Points are required to play in the main event.

Not sure if I'll be going or not. Depends on a few things, I'm expecting to be able to go but nothing for me is comfirmed.

My first time too.
I'm going to be in Seniors devision.
Not sure what I'll be wearing...clothes maybe :p
But I know I'll have a Tyranitar pin on my backpack, if you want to find me.

OK, thanks. Wow, three days in a row! The first day will be quite boring for me though, I only have to play 3 rounds...

@olimar: GIVE ME YOUR PIN!!! >:]

You could probably sell some things while you wait for Round 3 since there will likely be vendors.

Yeah I might bring in my bulk. I heard they buy bulk at a good price but the lines are so huge that nobody ever finds the time.

lol, if we find each other I can trade my pin.

You can do it during your 2 byes. Once you count it all, it only takes like 2 minutes to get it over with. The only reason why people say it takes so long is because of the people who sell singles one by one. Troll and Toad last year I think I had two lines, 1 for bulk and 1 for singles. But most people went in the different lines, so that's why it takes so long.

I'm going again. I'm pumped. I'm actually leaving the Wednesday before and the Monday after (I convinced my mom, lol). I'm staying at the Marriott Downtown that's connected to the center Thurs-Sunday.

BTW, if anyone wants to book a room downtown, do it now. It'll be cheaper than waiting. (I booked it in September, and the prices are already somewhat higher)

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I see, are their bulk prices worth bringing it in, and do they buy old bulk?

Yeah but you have to pay for shipping if you mail stuff, so I guess It's worth it. It's a great price even then though. WI Regs only gave 4 cents per RARE.

If it's a lot of bulk, it's actually worth sending it in. Using the Priority Flat Rate uses less money than regular shipping. Also, they buy any bulk from any set.

1500 at Nats: $60
1500 mailed: $82.50 - $11.95 (medium box) = $70.55

Troll and Toad only lower the prices at events because if it was the same so many more people would bring them to the events.
