Vacations =)

On this thread you can discuss all about vacations- where you go, what you do there, where do you want to go in the future, some cool things you brought back, etc.

Please tell me all about it. =D

Our family goes to Florida every so often, and we like to go to the theme parks there. We went to Disney land when we were younger, and the last time, we went to Bush Garden... the roller coasters there are fantastic, especially Montu. I always wanted to go to Japan, and Hawaii.

So post all about it. :D

Unfortunately my family has never been on any sort of vacation. We just don't have the time and/or money to go on a vacation.

Oh, well that's too bad. :)
Our vacation aren't huge ones really, but it's nice to get away from the busy life once in a while. I'm glad we could at least go to Florida- the last time was there, I found a Pokemon card collectible store, with some boxes of holos. I got a few secret holos there which was a pleasent suprise. ;)

For Winter Break we're going to Breckenridge, CO for skiing with one of my old best friends from Houston, TX. haven't seen her in several years since moving to NYC, so I'm excited! c:

...though I wish I was going to Banff, Canada instead, like other years. oh well!

My family visits our neighbouring countries Indonesia and Singapore very often.

I've been to Australia twice, and the USA (Florida) once. =]

Next summer, I plan on visiting Atlantis Paradise Island; it truly looks like your stereotypical dream paradise! Anyway, I don't know if it's just me, but I can't think of a better place to go to than this. Too expensive? Who cares if it's too expensive. The New World Order is about to begin, and no one can stop the Bilderburgs or Rothchilds from their evil plot, so I say live your life to the fullest while we are still able. Put a little danger into your life! Fight THE MAN!

I go for day-trips most of the time.
Sometime down the South-Coast or to the Beach...or I just stay at home & have a picnic.

Cool vacations, and even having a picnic in the backyard is a vacation in itself. I went to New Mexico, which was a lot of fun. We always like to bring memoirs back from our trips. Even time we go to Florida, we bring something back, and sometimes for other people. We also have amazing food when we go down to Florida. It's a lot of fun. Another country I've always wanted to vacation at is Italy, considering I am part Italian. :D

I've never been outside of Britain. =P
My family usually just take a vacation to other parts of Scotland or sometimes, down to England.

One day I'd like to be able to visit America, and if I'm lucky, Japan. :]

Vacations ehh? I have always wanted to go to Japan. Maybe even Australia. Sadly, I have only just been to Pennsylvania. I have never been outside of the United States before, and I really would like to get outside.

しかし、私は何もするし、日本にしたいと思います。そのしたポケットモンスターで生まれました。これとは別に、私はその文化が最初に手を見たいと思っています。しかし、それは私だけです。これは、知っている人は決して夢を実現することがあります。

But, I would like to go to Japan more then anything. Its were Pocket Monsters was born at. Besides that, I want to see the culture first hand. But, that is just me. It may be a dream that will never happen, who knows.

Wow, that's a cool translation.

I've never been out of the country before either, except to Canada a long time ago, and I was so young I can't remember what we did while we were there. But it's fun to travel to new places... there's always something I haven't seen before every time I vacation. :)

I've never been on vacation. But I'd love to travel to Germany and see my heritage. (I can trace my family tree back to Germany in the mid 1600's.)

That's really cool. I know some people who travel there every few years, and they bring back gummy candy called Haribo which tastes amazing! I also got a German secret wonders pack the last time they went along with some candy. Anyways, I'd love to travel to Europe, but it'll be a long time before I can. :)

Hey, we are too! Its a 2 and 1\2 hour drive from my home, but we are only going there for a doy or two.

I haven't been really anywhere with my family, though I we do usually go to the lower half of NJ (AKA the shore) which isn't too much of a vacation. But I did go to Canada with 1 of my younger brothers, my father and my uncle. I also when to Boston, MA to watch a Soccer game (US vs. Costa Rica (my dad's native country)) with my dad and 2 of my younger brothers as well. I have also been to Florida and Guatemala with my mom and dad and 1 of my younger brothers (only Florida), but too bad I was a baby when I when so I don't remember anything about it XD.

But outside of family vacations, I have been other places with other peoples families lol. I recently when to Ohio with my friends family 2 summers ago, as well as Pennsylvania, Lake George (In Upper NYC), and other places I can't remember, lol.

Hmmm, I love to go on camping and hiking trips and stuff.

Nothing beats spending a few weeks in the outdoors. Nothing.

Oh yeah. My cousins, brother, and I go camping every year. We hike, swim, watch the stars at night, and even play mini-golf and ride go-karts. We also Pictochat at night on our DSs which is a lot of fun not to mention bringing some of our Pokemon cards to trade. It's a lot of fun, and there is a creek that is muck-filled, and we try to get across it every time hopefully leach-free. It is overall a lot of fun. And like you said, nothing beats the outdoors. :)

My family usually goes to Acadia in Maine every year, it's beautiful up there.
We also go to the Dakota's (particually North Dakota), as my old graet-grandfather's farm is still there. It's weird being in a state where there's basically nothing.

I'm english so i say "Holiday" so i have to travel 9hours to get to america and i always go there every atumn for about 2 week in florida.

That's cool. I go to Florida as well. Because it's hot or warm all year around, swimming is something almost every takes part in when they go to Florida. The beach is so much fun, and once we went to an building shaped as an upside-down pyramid by a peer. It was shopping mall, aquarium, and even a place to fish. It was really cool, and I never knew there was a building like it. You could look out from a glass elavator and see the entire city we were in; I can't remember what it was called. I was afraid it was going to crash down, because of it's shape, but that was a neat expirience. :)
