Pokemon: 20
3-2-3 Venusaur DEX
4-4 Accelgor (1 NVI, 3 DEX)
4 Emolga DRX
T/S/S: 27
4 Switch
3 Catcher
3 Heavy Ball
3 Level Ball
3 Rare Candy
2 Random Receiver
1 Super Rod
4 N
4 Cheren
Energy: 13
9 Grass
4 DCE
Basically a simpler version of the Venusaur/Accelgor/Gothitelle Now I just focus on Venusaur and Accelgor. This deck actually sets up pretty quickly. Considering Shelmet, Ivysaur, and Venusaur can utilize Heavy Ball and all but Venusaur can utilize Level Ball, there is pretty good search. There is also Venusaur's ability, Floral Scent which lets me search out any one Pokemon.
The official strategy is set up Accelgor and Venusaur simultaneously via Emolga and ball system. This happens surprisingly easy for me. Then it's Deck and Draw to keep the defending Pokemon constantly Paralyzed. I found the NVI Accelgor works pretty well as a secondary emergency attacker/finisher for only one Grass energy.
The one problem I have is I end up with waaayyy too much search mid to late game and not enough energy/DCE at this time. I used to run Communication, but replaced it with Random Receiver. We don't have a Garbador variant what so ever at my league, but I'd still like to find room for Tool Scrapper for him and those Eviolite's which slow down Accelgor's damage.
Any thoughts or Advice?
