Basically, the deck focuses entirely around supporting Vespiquen as an attacker. Shiinotic allows you to search for more Vespiquens, allowing you to keep up trading Vespiquens much more easily than you could have otherwise. Lurantis gives you a source of extra damage that doesn't come from discarding Pokemon, which is helpful early on. Forest of Giant Plants is crucial here, getting everything up quickly is a big deal. Let me know what you guys think :)

I think this deck is way more solid with Lurantis and could totally kill 1 GX in one hit. The problem is that this deck has nothing to really rely on. What I mean is that a deck where you totally depend on all your cards to be playable, you gonna need a lot of trainers that can feed Garbodor (only 5 items and it kills you in 1 hit)
Lurantis kind of help but if you think about it it's the same damage you get by having the lurantis line on your discard pile. So only consumes space on your bench. I don't think this deck fits anymore in a competitive way since the meta changed a lot. It barely can compete against solid decks like Drampax/Garbodor or even Metagross (that's a thing).

Is not as bad as I make it look, but for my opinion this deck but with no real chances, just like Passimian.

It is true that Garb will OHKO you, but so does basically everything. You're only worth one prize and you can easily OHKO Garbodor right back. Against Garbodor you just have to take the first K.O. If you don't, Lysandre a Lele or something that's worth two prizes and you'll be fine. Metagross could be a problem, but if it is you could run a 1-1 Flareon AOR line and you'd basically just autowin. It is true that Lurantis would give you the same damage in the discard pile, maybe running a Parallel City would help to free up bench space? The idea of Lurantis was to give damage without trying to get more Pokemon in the discard. Thanks for the reply! :)

Playing eeveelutions is worth more than playing Lurantis. If you need bench is to support your queens which need lot of help against bulky decks like Volcarona, Decidueye and Metagross which you can totally deal with a Flareon and Vaporeon.
The struggle you gonna have against decks like Garbodor is the timing. Are you be able to hit first with enough damage to take out garbodor before it knocks you? Also, he only needs 1 PSY energy when you need a DCE. That's could be a problem.
If you end up removing lurantis due the fact that is the same as having 2 pokemon on your discard, you could use that space to get some pokemon with abilities that can help. Maybe an Ability blocker Garbodor (even if it conflicts with eeveelutions) or Oranguru to pull cards.

Hi!

I'm wondering why are you running Tauros GX. While I understand that it only requires a DCE, as Vespiqueen does, that's one DCE less in your queens, and, more important, it gives 2 prizes.

Also, while I see the point on running Shiinotic, I've realized that what made that ability particulary good during the BW format (Gabite DRX) was that it was put in a pokemon that still could evolve into that deck main attacker. However, I'm not sure if Shiinotic is worth to be played in Stage 1 grass deck tbh.
