Hey guys! What is the viability of Toad when LaserBank is gone? Would it still be a good primary attacker?
If not, who would be its new partner? Aside from Yveltal EX.

Well, I'm thinking as well if I should sell my toads now. Since LTC is gone as well.

Thanks!

IMO, Seismitoad EX is still quite viable (despite its low damage output). Many, if not all, decks run some mix of Items; so, Item-locking can still be quite disruptive to an opponent. Also keep in mind that Seismitoad EX's Quaking Punch requires only CC energy; so, it could also possibly morph into more of a tech role for some players since this Poké can essentially "fit" in decks running DCE or can accelerate energy attachment.

At a recent LC tournament, I saw players still running Seismitoad EX with Yveltal EX. However, with the increase play of Raichu and Manectric EX, I would expect to see fewer decks where Seismitoad EX is paired with Yveltal EX unless that player is also running Shadow Circle Stadiums. Other players I know have already replaced the Yveltal EXs with other Poké like Manectric EX for the time being.

I feel like Seismitoad EX will be kind of like Dialga G in that it will be used simply for stalling while you setup. Making your opponent not play Items for a couple turns can slow them down and give you time to setup. However, with the expected rise in Grass types, I feel Seismitoad will have less dominance. Even Yanmega from Phantom Forces can OHKO him!
