Hello all! I'm sort of new to competitive play, and reading the help guide, this is the deck I had come up with, based on cards I had in the TCGO. I can't test it against a league (I'm only 15, and the nearest one is like a 30 minute drive, which my parents wont go for), and barely online, because of bad internet, bad computer, etc. Soo I'm hoping you can help me, so that when I get my permit and eventually license, I can test it at a league!
(Quick note: this deck is less than 60 cards, because I've taken out some terrible ones.) Any suggestions are super great, as I'd love to get better at deck building, and this probably sucks!
(Another Quick Note! This is in budget because I am planning on trying to get all these cards spending the money I earned from plush commissions, which is not that much. I do believe, however, this is standard.)
Pokemon:
Strategy:
An explanation for each pokemon: Emolga calls for family, bringing in some other pokemon, since there are so few. Victini EX supplies energy to benched pokemon, and does 100 damage to exes. Victini, if a placeholder pokemon, can move its energy before it dies, but it's main thing, is redoing coin flips, which brings me to Zapdos, which has the potential to do 200 damage with good coin flips, or 50 to a benched pokemon, which is always useful. It, however needs a lot of energy, and that is why Victini EX is there mostly. The Durants are good starter pokemon. They each do something different. FLF gets rid of cards in your opponents hand, PLS gets a pokemon to your hand, if emolga isn't available, DRX gets stuff from discard.
The trainers are probably this deck's biggest flaw. They were in a way randomly picked, not picked for the deck itself, just what seemed useful at the time. The energies, are of course, suiting the deck. To me, it seems like waaaay to many though.
Thanks, and as I said, any help is appreciated!
